I literally just walked down to the beach from my house and the rain is just a mist. Barely anyone felt the earthquake. Everything is fine. The fear mongering is just like the covid thing.

Officials have pre-emptively ruled any deaths caused by Hilary to be suicides.

The area recorded 2.06 inches of rain on Sunday, a record for the August date, a National Weather Service forecaster said.

That's a Noah's Ark level deluge.

Close enough to trigger media’s reflexes. They are counting and celebrating Hilary’s rain drops like Hillary’s votes.

“Yes, is it just me, or is this California hurricane getting more attention then the typical hurricane that strikes the east coast?”

And it wasn’t even a hurricane. It was moderate rain. I won’t have to water the grass for a week, that is how it effected me.

Saw a pic of a lot of water in Dodger stadium parking lot.
They were predicting a lot of rain for Palm Springs area. Wonder how they made out.

How much is a lot of rain in the desert? Infrastructure is seldom set up to handle elements rarely seen. How much snow removal equipment do you suppose Florida has?

Palm Springs daily rainfall 2.64” ... amounts of 4-6 in around San Gabriel Mtns. Death Valley had about an inch of rain and temperatures more than 30 deg below normal for the day (70s instead of 110). Tonopah NV high temp was 59F, probably an all-time record low for August.

I lived in California for 29 years, and we never had a hurricane

Well, the record is unbroken, because they didn't have one yesterday, either.
