The RINO’s in Texas sure did a great job with the wind power scam.

Did they think all the hot air that comes out of their mouths impeaching Ken Paxton would create enough power?

You mean to tell me all those cock-eyed ceiling fans spread out all over God’s Blessed Texas are useless as mammary glands on a bull? Damn, they destroy the scenery and everything. What the hell were you idiots that put them up thinking?

At this moment, Texas is getting 15.7% or its power from Solar, 11.2% from wind, 52.3% from natural gas, and 14.1% from coal.

The only way transient windpower and solar can work acceptable at all in grid systems, is to have them -when they are working - send their energy to a storage system, that tye larger grid can then use in the overall system. Something that should not be counted as normal generating capacity. Should only be considered as potential extra capacity that can’t be counted on, at best.

Texas MAGA Republicans must have been asleep when the utility was investing in green energy rather than nuclear power. Georgia, supposedly under woke Republican leadership, invested in nuclear power and is now benefiting from the opening of a big nuclear plant.

Texas isn’t close to going down on power, they have 6223 MW in reserve that could be put on and actually solar is doing better than wind. Solar of course is no use when the sun goes down but Natural Gas ramps up to replace it

The wind this summer, especially in these high pressure dome events such as now, has been zilch, zippo, nada, none. Last Sunday my large pond was smooth as glass. There was not even an hint of breeze. I checked with a feather and dust. Perfectly calm and windless. Today there is hardly a leaf stirring. The air is not moving very much at all.

These climate weenies are driving us into the dark ages.

This is a good lessen in why Red states go Blue.

This is precisely an issue that could cost Conservatives
the loss of a Red State.

The Left will demagogue the issue, as if they didn’t play
a part in the development of wind to replace other tried
and true power sources.

Soft minds will listen and be moved. It sucks, but it
is what it is.

The Rs better figure this out like yesterday, or else.

Texas is 20,000 sq miles larger than the nation of France.

France has 56 operable nuclear reactors totalling 61,370 MWe.

Texas has TWO.

Absolutely pathetic.

6000% increase? What does this mean for the common home consumer? If they get a $100 a month bill normally, what will it be now?

All of us with Central AC Units and HOA’s needs to convince them a few back-up window units might save energy and keep stupid greenie grids up (Also, with all this heat the chances of needing a repair goes up...and time it takes to do the repair too)

Does Texas still produce oil? If so, somebody somewhere is burning it, just not Texas. Global effect, same.
