President Joe Biden was criticized for remarks he made in which he falsely stated that he saw a bridge in Pittsburgh collapse.
While speaking in Milwaukee on Tuesday, Biden spoke about Bidenomics and later brought up the topic of having seen the Fern Hollow Bridge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, collapse.
The Fern Hollow Bridge, which was built in 1973, collapsed on Jan. 28, 2022, according to the Associated Press.
“Pittsburgh is a city of bridges. More bridges in Pittsburgh than any other city in America,” Biden claimed. “I watched that bridge collapse. I got there and saw it collapse,” Biden said of the incident.
Biden’s false claim was sharply criticized by people on X, formerly known as Twitter. According to Fox News, Biden made a planned visit to Pittsburgh that day, but arrived after the bridge already fell.
Veteran and author Sean Parnell posted, “I can assure you Biden did not personally watch a bridge collapse here in Pittsburgh.”
“Must have happened during one of his long-haul trucking routes,” small business owner David Giglio posted.
“Another day another lie… why is this tolerated,” sports commentator Dan Dakich said.
Former Florida state Rep. Jason Fischer (R) reacted to Biden’s claim by saying he was “lying to us. It never happened.”
Another user questioned how Biden was able to “get away with this?”
“Honestly, the President of the United States lying through his teeth and NO ONE in the mainstream media calls him out. What an embarrassment to our country – both Biden and MSMedia,” the user wrote.
This is what happens when Joey has to answer a question without an ear piece.
He really gets around.
Oh, FFS.
The demented old coot saw it on ABC Evening News with David Muir. And just like David Muir, Brandon is divorced from reality.
His son Beau died in that bridge collapse.
I’m waiting until Biden gets to Hawaii, and talks about his kitchen fire.

” Biden made a planned visit to Pittsburgh that day, but arrived after the bridge already fell.”
“... arrived after the bridge HAD ALREADY FALLEN”. An actual journalist wrote this?
Jon Lovitz could take lessons from this guy. “Yeah, DAT’S da ticket!!”
Main stream media - “Oh, that’s just our Joe.....”
and how he can relate, after all Beau burnt his fingers on the hot stove.
Well, at least there’s photographic proof of him raising the flag at Suribachi.
LOL.....good one.

That’s exactly what is so infuriating about all his lies. I just posted this on another thread about the fires:
WATCH: Biden again adds fuel to story about lightning sparking fire at his home
President Joe Biden appeared to embellish yet again the story of how a lightning strike caused a fire at his home nearly two decades ago.
This time around, he was delivering remarks Friday while in Colorado to survey the damage caused by a rare winter wildfire in the Denver suburbs that destroyed more than 1,000 homes and other buildings last week.
“Jill and I have not gone through what you’ve gone through, but we have had lightning strike our home and almost lose our home,” Biden said.

Biden tells victims of last week’s Colorado wildfires that he once “had lightning strike our home and almost lose our home.”
That is a lie. According to a 2004 AP report, it was “a small fire...contained to the kitchen” that “was under control in 20 minutes.”
It then cited a 2004 report from the Associated Press about the lighting strike that hit the Bidens’ home in Delaware and caused “a small fire ... contained to the kitchen” that according to a fire official was producing heavy smoke when firefighters arrived, but it “was under control in 20 minutes.”
Biden previously talked up the 2004 lightning strike while in New Hampshire in November. Discussing his infrastructure plan and how bridges are important for emergency services, he said, “And I know, having had a house burn down with my wife in it — she got out safely, God willing — that having a significant portion of it burn, I can tell, 10 minutes makes a hell of a difference.”
And he was on the grassy knoll.....................
He personally saw Corn Pop knock it down.
I think I’ll buy a box of Corn Pops today in his honor.................
I hear they had to restrain Joe from pedaling onto the bridge on his bicycle as it collapsed.
