Instead, the move in this situation seems to have been to surround and lock the place down with (in effect) big signs saying “stay away you bad people!!”. The lab was stopped. But perps may have gotten away. Perhaps this is why the operation has had multiple locations in its recent history. Maybe the officials don’t actually want to stop this thing.

That was the most important thing, first, secure the site. They know who was running the lab, the owners of the building and inventory and their location, and they have talked to them to include the Heung family in Oakland, (really Singapore) and Prestige licensed in Nevada. The Heung family swears silence, Prestige won’t return phone calls or email from China, and the Prestige building in Nevada is an empty warehouse. They already have everyone they are going to get at the lowest level in sight. The big guys are going to walk, as usual because they include government like the state and feds that authorized the labs and are currently shredding documents that they funded it, too, like Wuhan. This should lead to a red flag to investigate licensed labs in the US by the states and federal governments. See that happening?
