MSNBC’s Hayes: Weiss ‘Could Not Effectively’ Try Hunter Before Friday
Breitbart ^ | 08/12/2023 | Ian hatchett

Posted on 08/12/2023 9:05:41 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In,” host Chris Hayes commented on the appointment of a special counsel in the Hunter Biden probe and stated that U.S. Attorney David Weiss “could not effectively” try Hunter Biden for tax and gun crimes in the spot as U.S. Attorney he held before Friday.

Hayes said, “The underlying evidence here is not really in doubt. Hunter Biden has been open about the fact that he’s made lots of mistakes while struggling with addiction, and he agreed to a plea deal, under which Hunter Biden would plead guilty to the tax offense and avoid the gun charge. Now, here’s where things get interesting, the agreement fell apart when there was a hearing before the federal judge who was going to approve it. The judge questioned its terms at that hearing last month. And the two sides were told to go and work out another deal. They were not able to come to a new agreement for the plea. So, that means that, now, the case against Hunter Biden is probably going to go to trial, something that David Weiss, the U.S. Attorney for Delaware, could not effectively do under his powers as U.S. Attorney, because he’d probably have to try the case somewhere else. So, today, Attorney General Merrick Garland elevated David Weiss.”

So, the ‘doh-j” didn’t wrap up the investigation by 5:00 p.m. yesterday after all? Odd. Somebody must have been out of the office.

Joe Biden’s deep involvement in Hunter’s business schemes
with Chinese,Russians and Ukrainians revealed in
Devon Archer’s full damning testimony to Congress
New York Post ^ | August 3, 2023 | Steven Nelson
Posted on 8/3/2023, 11:05:13 AM by george76

Hunter Biden’s former business partner Devon Archer told lawmakers this week that Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings brought the VP’s son onto its board, was “a strongarm tactic,” so that people would be intimidated to mess with them …... legally.

Archer said that Hunter had a well-rehearsed act while at dinner w/ foreign clients, wherein Hunter would ceremoniously announce he was “calling his VP dad in DC” which was Joe’s cue to discuss “niceties and the weather”......not business.

Archer testified Hunter’s phone act was calculated....intended to show his foreign clients they had instant access to VP Biden...... to collect favors once they paid him off.

The telephone act was also intended to give the Bidens deniability and to let Joe Biden off the hook as a criminal accomplice to influence peddling, bribery and money laundering.

Sounds like he is admitting it’s Weiss’ job to make this go away.

Another gaslighting douchebag

Who: Hayes, Biden, both father and son, Garland, or Weiss?

There’re so many douchebags in one article!

All of the above is my answer.

So what. Everybody in prison made mistakes. Many were also on drugs.

I’m betting Hunter will plead guilty to all charges pending against him so daddy can pardon him from all future charges especially if daddy has to resign or his health gets even worse.

Just read this on another thread:

The Justice Department's regulations appointing a special counsel:

"An individual named as Special Counsel shall be a lawyer with a reputation for integrity and impartial decision-making, and with appropriate experience to ensure both that the investigation will be conducted ably, expeditiously and thoroughly, and that investigative and prosecutorial decisions will be supported by an informed understanding of the criminal law and Department of Justice policies. The Special Counsel shall be selected from outside the United States Government."

Weiss works for the US Government right now... Did Garland violate policy? Can Congress do something?

.
Lies.

This was only for Garland. Garland was being called to testify over the SC Powers and after Weiss lied about three different times, he wanted to eliminate that issue for himself.

He preempted the House Hearing and will now hide behind “the Investigation” and say it’s a moot point.

It’s insulting to Republicans as they left the Biden Donors that kept tipping off Hunter on the Investigation.

Dirty David Weiss from Delaware

What’s he been doing for over five years?

Weiss’s first job is to keep this way from Traitor Joe and he will get plenty of help from Wray and Garland.

since 2014-2015 has rolled off the statute of limitations, a house select committee can investigate Hunter for crimes committed in that period and should do that soon in order to build a fire underneath weiss in the court of public opinion.

(will the house do so?)

I’m sure there are many cases when people struggling with addiction make $20 million in “mistakes,” outgoing.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a case before Hunter Biden where the “mistakes” amounted to $20 million, incoming.

“The judge questioned its terms’

And found out about the “Get Out of Jail Free for Everything” non-submitted deal.
Once exposed, they had to deny it. That busted the agreement.

Hayes, the ever douchable, leaves out the most significant part. The Lawyers cooked a deal that has Never Been done before, and didn’t tell the Judge about it.

How conveeeeenient.
