Parents are planning on pulling their daughters off a Wisconsin high school sports team after a male has been allowed to compete..
About 50 parents and athletes within Green Bay Area Public School District met with officials Thursday who told them that a male would be allowed to compete on a high school sports team and potentially use locker rooms on the basis of gender identity rather than biological sex
...
With tryouts starting Monday, some girls do not plan to attend over concerns for their physical safety.
...
“The girls are just kind of fed up hearing that your safety is our top concern from all these people and they’re really doing nothing about it,” Ryan Gusick, a parent with a daughter on the sports team..
The name of the school and the sport is not being named by local outlets reporting the story for safety concerns.
In the meeting, the district told the parents that the male student would be allowed to compete on the team if the student meets Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association regulations, which requires male-to-female transgender athletes take testosterone suppression therapy for at least one year, NBC 26 reported. The school district’s transgender policy states that students should not be kept from participating in sports and that students looking to compete on the basis of gender identity will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
“The Green Bay Area Public School District cares about the well-being of every student,” the school district said in a statement to the outlet. “All decisions regarding a student’s ability to participate in co-curricular athletics/activities are made in accordance with Title IX law, Board policy, and WIAA regulations.”
Throughout the country, parents, school boards and lawmakers are debating whether sports teams should be separated on the basis of biological sex rather than gender identity; in Virginia, the high school sports authority announced that it will reject recent state guidance which requires sports teams to be separated on the basis of biological sex rather than gender identity. Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed a bill that prevents men from competing on women’s sports teams in college.
“I think it really reaffirmed the fact that they’re just not going to play,” Gusick told NBC 26 following the meeting with the district. “They’re too concerned mostly about the locker room situation in itself, and the safety concern.”
They should be pulled to fight de-genderization even if there were no safety concerns.
Can't agree with that. The best private school down here (The Benjamin School) REQUIRES that students participate in varsity athletics.
Sports can do a lot for young people. It can teach discipline and team building - all while sometimes creating lifelong friendships.
In public schools, sometimes sports IS the only way out. That or drugs. Take your pick.
The problem is almost all the girls have to do this.
There is also the likelihood that this action will hurt the girl students’ chances to get accepted in some prestigious colleges both because they withdrew and because they won’t have basketball as an activity on their college application. If you played basketball three years and then withdrew, I suspect it will be a red flag to the admissions offices.
It is good they are doing this. We should all support their sacrifice. -
Who ever thought of this as equality...it’s the opposite.

You don't have to chose; chose What?
One problem Phase III might have is finding a venue to hold the events.
Nailed it. That this is not happening all over the place, each and every day is puzzling as hell to me.
The only thing that will stop this is if ALL the girls refuse to join the team.
I’d certainly pull my daughter out.
Let this tranny freak compete against other teams by himself.
Now yer talkin’!
Government control of sports is a waste of time and money. Mixing a merit-based program like sports with a governing structure built around catering to the lowest common denominator is ludicrous. That’s how you end up with this idiocy with “trannies” competing on girls’ teams.
Equity and egalitarianism have no place in a meritocracy. That’s why private schools exist in the first place.
Every single girl MUST not try out and refuse to play....but we all know the weak minded girls and their useful idiot parents will not do so.
Good for them-—finally standing up to utter nonsense.
"“The Green Bay Area Public School District parents care about the well-being of every student their children. All decisions regarding a student’s ability allowing their children to participate in co-curricular athletics/activities are made in accordance with Title IX law, Board policy, and WIAA regulations common sense, morality and parental responsibility.”
Seems easier to get rid of the trannies than the sports (and more helpful to the students).
Good!! Parents should have done that when this insanity started in all sports. Strength in numbers. Wake up parents!!
I wonder why they refuse to name the sport.
Some fathers, uncles and older brothers need to meet with this freak for some serious counseling. I’m sure he can be made to understand. If not, his transition surgery can begin forthwith.
Those things don’t trump immorality period!
There are plenty of other avenues for sports and don’t forget...some just aren’t into sports but the elite few! Some students have to work they don’t have the money or the time for sports!
But saying sports trumps morality is nuts! Our children are not sexual piles of meat for the highest bidder or the craftiest groomers.,...they are not for sale!
That was then. Now they would probably join him. Over the years, the Law has made a serious and successful effort to sissify the male sex. We are seeing the results now. More and better will follow shortly.
