Trump said, “Well, they have three or four people that I wouldn’t, you know— who would put these people as president?”

He added, “Somebody like Asa Hutchinson, who’s polling at zero, will ask me nasty questions. Somebody like Chris Christie, he’s polling at 1% and he’s going to ask me nasty questions, and others too, and then you have some that are very good. I mean, Tim Scott has been very nice, and Ramaswamy has been very, very nice. I mean, these are, you know, very capable people, very good people, but why would you do that when you’re leading by so much? Ronald Reagan didn’t do it, Nixon didn’t do it, many people didn’t do it, but I’m going to look at it very seriously.”

Trump had rather have Biden re-elected then to unify the Republican party.

Finally, someone with enough balls to see what he really thinks. And that kid is why we love Trump.

Awesome! Trump didn’t explicitly say he won’t attend the debates, instead, he said he won’t abide by their rules ...

so the ball is now back in the RNC’s court about whether to alter the rules to accommodate Trump or stick with the rules that Trump says he wont’t abide by ... whether the RNC caves or not, the RNC loses and Trump wins either way ... Trump continues to demonstrate his political genius ...

When the Republican Party "leadership" refused to throw Liz Cheney out of the party for her efforts in the criminally false impeachment, they lost any and all authority to tell anyone to "pledge support".

Kudos to the good people of the Wyoming Republican Party for throwing her out though.

I think Vanity has taken over. This is the people's government......or are we too ignorant?

And this is no different than the soccer folks that took a knee. Either you support the parties choice....or you've made yoursel;f into an independent candidate who doesn't believe it's the people's vote...not the Trump vote.

This is ticking me off.

So it’s not about MAGA, it’s about Trump. I don’t want a D, any D, to nominate the next SCJ. I also don’t want Biden or any other D in the Oval Office, tearing down what’s left of America, including our military.

Remember when Ted Cruz said something like, “Vote your conscience” back in 2016?

Remember how many people blasted Ted Cruz for that statement?

Do you think those same people will come forward now and blast Donald Trump?

No chance President Trump shows up for the debate. He's too far ahead for any upside.

The thing he should do is watch the debate with a few allies and provide running commentary. I once watched an edition of Conan the Barbarian where Arnold and the director did this and it was both awesome and hilarious.

Guaranteed better ratings than watching the boring Lilliputians slug it out.

It seems fair that he not endorse anyone he thinks wouldn’t be good for the country. But what if some of his fellow candidates decide the same? Will he respect their choice?

Kick his selfish azz from the party. Been stealing conservative support for his populist victim act and moving us to the left too long already.

It could happen. He’s just one disaster after another, and will destroy us either way, so cut the cord first.

I wonder why Trump is even running in the R primary.

He's got his base.

There’d be nothing more on-brand for Trump like refusing to endorse the eventual GOP nominee and then either begging him for a pardon or, more likely, assisting Biden getting re-elected and living out his final days behind bars.

The RNC just needs to pass a rule that anyone not participating in the debates will receive no money from the RNC if they become the nominee. Or even better, if they don’t participate in the debates, none of their delegates will be seated at the convention. The GOP is a private organization, they can do what they want…
