It could have been freezing and they’d say that.
I read that some airline grounded flights for whatever reason, and temperatures actually went up during that time- proof positive that airplanes keep temperatures cooler lol

So now we are told that the Earth’s temperature can be accurately determined to the nearest hundredth of a degree. Not a chance.

Side note: Anyone with even basic training in the rules of scientific calculations would blow that number right out of the water. But of course the raw data will not be released. And if by chance it was, any correct analysis would be suppressed.
When next February is the Coldest on Record, the Climate Clowns will bellow:

Good luck finding the truth. The hot summer has been caused by the massive underwater volcanic eruption near Togo. The largest in 1200 years. Just in time to finish off ICE cars.

Whatever the temperature of the earth is at any point on earth and at any point in time is the "correct" temperature of the earth. To say it's wrong... and it should be "X" is absurd.
Rhine Valley, Germany...from late Apr to 1st week of July...absolute drought, 1 x short shower, temp near 80 to 85 daily.
2nd week of July to today? Coolest temperatures ever (I’m saying over 50 years). At night around 48 to 55, daytime from 60 to 70. Showers daily (my dead grass has come back to life). People wearing October gear...flip flops gone....public pools open but no customers.
And we’re all gonna die again.
It’s 55 F here will they add that into August’s totals ? LOL

No matter what the crises, and no matter what extraordinary thing that is noticed, and no matter what other abnormal/not-normal issue arises...
the root cause is...
climate change.
But, the climate is always changing, so, we have to do something to make sure the climate never changes.
That’s going to require spending like never before, and taxing like never before, and controlling people and industry like never before.

First - absolutely any “science” that relies on grants and agenda-fueled backing will find a way to “prove” the agenda behind it. They want to get paid.
Second - Just as others have posted: “not here”. Yes - we have had a handful of very hot days - but still not outside the historic average Summer temps. Our winter was right at or slightly below average in temps for our area - Local honest meteorologists have been posting about previous much hotter years (both in actual high temps and in whole-year averages).
Rather convenient that these “scientists” can isolate their pet reporting stations (including some that are in far different environments than they were decades ago - like grassy with tree shading previously, now over asphalt in the direct sun, and one that was revealed not long after Algore’s fiction... thermometer reporting station where the thermometer was located right by the A/C unit outside with hot air blown on it all the time...
How would Buontempo know that anthropogenic emissions are the main driver of temperature increases? Does he have a direct tie to God? Probably he figures the sun (or the Son) has nothing to do with the temp increases & decreases. I think he has a few things to learn yet.
Cloudy and 69 degrees in East Tennessee right at the moment...
