Does “Lock her up!” ring a bell?

While Biden deserved it, few independents and no Democrats want to see Trump do what Democrats have been doing to Republicans, especially Trump. There is a double standard about weaponizing government agencies like DOJ, FBI, IRS, NSA. I have no idea if it is true or even if a new AG, head of FBI or other agency would do so.....current ones have, but we all know that those agencies are full of Democratic Party hacks.

“He promised to put Hillary in jail,”

He never did. Rally attendees shouted, “Lock her up!” He never said he would, much less promise that he would.

Bottom line:

With all the evidence of state corruption and weaponization against political opponents, no judge with any regard for ethics in the federal court system would touch this with a 10-meter pole.

The case against him ought to be remanded immediately to SCOTUS.

In a normal election system, his announcement might weight the election in his favor; this is NOT a normal election system.

The president does not prosecute
U.S. Constitution
Article II
Section 1
The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.

The Justice Department is an Article II entity completely subordinate to the President. The president is solely responsible for all executive departments, Defense, Justice, Education, etc. No Justice Department officer or employee has any independent authority, all such authority is derived from the president's authority. Merrick Garland cannot prosecute anyone Joe Biden does not want him to.

Trump's failure to vigorously prosecute Hillary Clinton would have been dereliction of duty, but for the fact that such prosecution of a political rival would be unprecedented, and would open the door abuse of the executive authority and the judicial process for political ends.

Joe Biden has no such scruples.

Trump didn't start the fire: Nasty Pelosi and the Dems did with the baseless Russiagate nonsense. Biden is only further aggravating a terrible situation. Biden is unprincipled and stupid.

Here’s some video of him promising to appoint a special prosecutor, and ending with saying she’d be in jail. Right to her face, in one of the debates, no less...

it is wrong when Biden does it, it would be wrong if Trump does it.

That really does not matter anymore.

The Democrats have established the new rules for the game. "They always win. We always lose". And political opposition is a criminal offense to be prosecuted.

Payback needs to be a real bitch. I believe we have passed the critical point where that can result from "elections" or "laws" or "courts". I would be happy to be wrong in that assessment.

But if Trump actually said he would prosecute Biden, it is just theatrics. First, he actually must get elected. Then he must purge the entire Justice Department, the FBI, the Federal Protective Services, and the State Department. Then he can appoint replacements, get them confirmed by the Senate, and begin the prosecutions.

I am keeping my eyes on the window, looking outside for flying pigs. That is my leading indicator that any of this will happen.

Yeah, the kkkommiecrats have shown themselves. Now its time to play Cowboys and kkkommiecrats. They get a cigarette and a blindfold - after their fair, 5 min trial. And that includes ALL the bureaucrats, ‘judges’, as well as the politicians and media. It’s the only way to be sure and preserve the Republic.

"The president does not prosecute, it is wrong when Biden does it, it would be wrong if Trump does it. Maybe it will excite people, but it is just talk. Anyway, Trump is, by his record of appointments, more likely to appoint an AG and FBI head that will immediately recuse themselves from anything involving Biden and instead turn their attention back on Trump."

You Ronlims think so small. And that is why you lose.

President Trump will create a domestic United States Domestic Terrorist Tribunal, equivalent to the existing United States Alien Terrorist Removal Court (a special Court composed of 5 Article III judges, but a Court whose power has never been exercised); and immediately refer Biden, his family, and his Administration to the United States Domestic Terrorist Tribunal Special Prosecutor for referral, the stripping of their American citizenship, and their forcible Federal removal from the United States by exile. Just as FISA has been turned inward against its own US citizens, that man whom FISA was used against as a political tool, will turn an Article III tribunal against our internal enemies.
