When Ron DeSantis got into a car crash last week, many couldn’t help seeing a morbid irony. The governor’s botched campaign launch set the tone for a spectacular fall from grace. DeSantis was supposed to be the alternative to Trump, the more “electable,” disciplined version who would rescue the country from Joe Biden.
When a candidate has to “reboot” this early, it’s a sign that it’s over. DeSantis, as they say, just doesn’t have it.>

I'd have said the same if Desantis somehow won or if Viveck somehow would have won. Don't know what I would have done if any of the others would have won. I probably would have written in Trump.

The primary was over when President Trump announced he would run again.

And by all means have the primaries. Maybe DeSantis can come back and win but it's highly doubtful at this point.

You’re a little premature, don’t you think? The primary season hasn’t even started yet. A lot can happen. Don’t count DeSantis out yet.
The Republican Party isn’t even on life support anymore. It is flat-out dead. We are still waiting for the medical examiner to sign the death certificate, but the GOP as a political force is lying on a slab in the morgue.
Donald Trump’s emergence in U.S. politics is all the evidence you need for this.
There have been many people who would have made excellent Presidents that just are not likeable enough on TV or at rallies. They just don’t have the prospects to get wide popularity with a nation of morons. Unfortunately the criteria most people use to choose are stupid stuff like surface appearance or honeyed voice. With our current totally unserious culture I’m pretty sure George Washington couldn’t get elected.
But Trump owns it and unless the deep state can put him in solitary confinement the nomination is his.
You are under the illusion that this is a normal election. You must be quite certain of your position in the world to not realize or care that America has undergone a coup. The ruling class of garbage people has gone mad, and they will lash out at anyone anything that they see threatening their power. When the wolves come for you will you regret your complacency?
