The Justice Department on Friday urged a federal judge overseeing former President Trump's election fraud case to issue a protective order against the former president after he made social media posts the department argues are threatening.
Prosecutors asked U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan to issue a protective order in the case a day after Trump pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in his favor and block the peaceful transition of power. The protective order would limit the information Trump and his legal team would be allowed to share publicly about the case.
Protective orders like this are common in criminal cases, but prosecutors said it's "particularly important" in this case because Trump has posted on social media about "witnesses, judges, attorneys, and others associated with legal matters pending against him."

But of course. He’s already being charged for exercising his first amendment rights, so why wouldn’t they continue down that same path.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a planned action by the Trump team. The judge would basically be ordering Trump to be unable to defend himself, even while the prosecution is leaking details to the press. Trump could then immediately appeal such an order all the way to the Supreme Court and be able to delay the trial indefinitely.
The only person whose physical safety is in question is Trump.
Anyone that knows Trump knows he doesn’t mean a physical confrontation of any kind...he means he’s gonna sue the right back.
This is the tipping point. They feel invincible. They will not let up until our side fights back. Many will not survive what’s coming.
You can tell when Trump is speaking truth, the government and media go nuts over it. He’s over the target.

Well, let’s see. The Judge worked for a firm of which coke head Biden was part of. That calls for immediate recusal and if not, removal from the bench for violating Trump’s civil rights. As a matter of fact, any DA, judge or counsel who is actively participating in this who has ties to Biden, Garland or the DOJ should recuse themselves or face Bar Association disbarment procedures. Unfortunately you need Rethuglicans with a spine to do that.
How can a department in the federal system with so much power feel "threatened?" Simple. Exposing the corruption is THE THREAT to the corrupt.
