Mayor Adams’ administration is looking at over 3,000 sites to place asylum seekers — and would not say whether the possible locations include Central Park — in the wake of the mayor’s comments that the migrant crisis is “coming to a neighborhood near you.”
There are nearly 108,000 people at 194 shelters across the Big Apple — pushing city officials to get creative when looking for places to erect new migrant housing.
Deputy Mayor Anne Williams-Isom skirted around whether migrant tents would be set up in Central Park, telling reporters on Wednesday that while there is a “constantly refreshing” list of possible sites, the situation is “at a breaking point.”
“Over 3,000 sites have been reviewed throughout the city to place people,” she said, without giving specifics on what sites they were looking at.

This is a stalling tactic. Adams has been ordered by the Feds to put on a helpless face while the Feds redistribute these illegals to red states and suburban areas.
Remember when Chief Moose was giving those incompetent press conferences during the DC Sniper while the Feds were doing the real work? Same dynamic.
Why are we continuing to let these freeloaders in if we have no place to stack them. We don’t need anymore ghettos!
I hope southern border states up the pressure and enforce existing laws and enact new laws that force illegal aliens out of their states to further north. I live in Wyoming and it is being swamped by illegal immigration and we’re in the middle of nowhere.
Why doesn’t he just Order all Public Employee’s to take 2 Illegals in to their homes so they can feed and take care of them???

My ancestor used to live in Central Park. The De Forest brothers Hendrick and Isaac had a farm there in the 1640s.
