Consider the dozer blades the Ukrainian air-assault forces have attached to at least some of their 14 British-made Challenger 2 tanks. A video the Ukrainian defense ministry posted last week depicts a 71-ton Challenger 2, fitted with a wide dozer blade, scooping up concrete “dragon’s teeth” tank obstacles—presumably at a training ground somewhere in Ukraine.
“If there is such a thing as ‘dragon’s teeth,’ there must be a ‘dragon’s dentist,’” the defense ministry quipped.

Amazing the nonsense that some people thought plausible only two months ago.
Why not just put armor on a bulldozer? It’d have to be cheaper than using a main battle tank for this.
“Amazing the nonsense that some people thought plausible only two months ago.”
My God! Did they REALLY believe that crap and then blame Zelensky when his men got destroyed in those Death Traps. Are they THAT clueless?
Did they really need to DESTROY Ukraine to figure out the obvious, which is that our weapons are for combat against Third World countries, not top-tier countries?
I think one of the issues is that every vehicle really needs a mine plough or roller.
The engineering vehicles with the ploughs can be at the front, but the mine field is being re-mined remotely.
So the vehicles further back still hit mines even if they are on “de-mined” routes.
Minefields are destroying Ukraine’s counterattack.
I think some of the more recent leaks imply that they knew all along, but somehow pretended Ukraine “fighting spirit” would carry the day.
I still think there was some magical thinking that somehow their vehicles and “NATO training” were not going to be shown up as paper tigers.
Although the UK appears to have prohibited them from actually using Challengers in an attack.
Putting dozer blades on tanks was used by the US in WW II to get through the Hedgerow country of France.
All armored land vehicles cannot survive in a battle against an opponent with modest technological capabilities. Suicide drones have been devastating in this conflict. Its obvious to military observers. The US Marine Corp is phasing out its armor corp. The US Navy will eventually concede that surface combatants are equally obsolete death traps. Helicopters cannot survive modern warfare. Warfare is changing but it will not cease.
Apparently it helps if they’re not being shot at.

Hey, maybe you can update us on the tens of thousands of Syrians and Africans that Putin was going to recruit?

Putin and Z are not banning washing machines, and threatening to bomb American Citizens. It’s a distraction. The biggest enemy is the left HERE. They must be defeated.
Wonder weapons take wonder crews.
It takes several years to be combat ready in an F16 for example.
Oh, you can fly it in two hours if already a pilot. Heck, a good pilot can watch the how to on youtube and fly it fine.
Combat is a different beast.
I’m sure it’s the same with tanks.

Actually, Putin is the one destroying RUSSIAN land right now... That’s the irony of it all...
What is being mostly destroyed and polluted by millions of Russian mines happens to be on Russian soil (!), right?
At least if Putin’s “official annexation” of the 4 Donbas regions has to be believed. He mined his own Donbas!
Putin is bombing “his own country”. So... ss that treason against mother Russia?
is what Putin has annexed and being considered as
Just wait till they come tell us we are required to put solar panels on the roof.
Those will work great under a foot of snow here in northern Michigan.
Exactly. We all witnessed that in “Independence Day”.
So our weapons can’t work against first tier countries?
Well that’s fascinating because we are a first tier country.
So I guess you’re saying the best militaries in the world can’t do anything against each other?
