I’ll be joining you in the whining about heat in no time. LOL Today wasn’t bad, though it was more humid than the past couple of days. Rain and storms in store the next two days but we won’t get much here. When this stuff comes from the NW, it loses most of its steam by the time it reaches us. From Saturday on, we’ll be back in the muggy 90s with the heat index around 100 or more.

The mowing was finished this morning but not by me. One of my ‘guardian angels’ came and mowed the front yard at the old house. I wouldn’t have been able to do it since I could barely get out of bed this morning. LOL Too much mowing yesterday. This gettin’ old thing sux royally.

Yes, it truly does suck to get old. Stuff isn’t as easy to do as it was. But, then there is an excuse for not doing some of it. LOL

Ooooo, muggy 90s with a high heat index sounds even nastier than our straight 100+ days with low humidity. At least any breeze we have feels almost good.

Have I said how much I hate summer? LOL!

Good evening, radu...hope some rain is predicted for you.

Did you get your lawns mowed? Is Champ earning his keep?

I still have to do the stuff. It just doesn’t always get done as often as it used to, and I pay for it longer afterwards. LOL

Yeah, we aren’t looking forward to the sauna again. I reckon we’re all ready for Fall at this point.

Hey there, Kathy.

Yes, we have rain and storms coming through tomorrow and Friday and we really need it. The leaves on the corn stalks are standing straight up these day so they’re desperate for a drink.

One of my ‘guardian angels’ was here this morning and for whatever reason, he mowed the front yard at the old house. I’m very grateful because there was no way I’d have been able to do it today.

Champ has more than earned his keep already. LOL He got a workout yesterday, that’s for sure.

Yes, every single person I talk to is OVER summer.

I told hubby that if one person whines about winter, Imma slap ‘em silly! Right now, being cold enough to be under multiple blankets to sleep sounds heavenly.

Of course, I’ll probably be the one I have to slap. LOL!

I hope those super humid days don’t last long. They can really sap the energy right out of ya.

I’m not ready for winter just yet. Nice fall weather sounds appealing though.
Winter means HIGH heating bills since I heat with propane. That’s one thing I really don’t look forward to.

I figure we’ll swelter through August, as we usually do. We might get a little break or two like we’ve had this week.

It’s a shame you can’t buy a bit of propane at a time and store it for future use. It would help with sticker shock in the winter if it were possible.

I’m going to finish this show and go to bed early. No nap today and my eyes are really burning. See ya Saturday. Hope y’all have a nice steady pace at the museum!

Par for the course, isn’t it?
Here’s hoping no more crop up so you can hit the pillows at a decent hour tonight.

I’m wrapping it up now before I fall asleep. Have to go into the office for my usual Thursday morning visit. And Brandy will meet me there so we can continue her learning what goes on on my visits. Then back to more little things getting fixed, etc.

Rest well when you get there,

I have a BIG tank out back. I don’t use small propane bottles to heat. It’s never close to empty but they still put quite a bit in each winter month when they show up to top it off. I don’t keep the house all that warm and dress in layers to help keep the bills down a little. Still hurts though.

I hope it isn’t TOO busy Friday since there’ll only be two of us working. Maybe I should buy some roller blades. LOL

Sleep well. Catch ya Saturday.

Good luck getting all the little things fixed tomorrow. I don’t think I need to wish you luck with Brandy because she seems to be on the ball.
Get a good night’s sleep tonight.

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and Hugs to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

Having internet issues this morning. Not sure what happened. It did come back on but still have to use iPhone which is connected to another server to reach some websites.

Recovery process is going well. Ran out oh zhudroclo last night night. Still have other pills in use.

How’s everyone doing this morning?
