Jack Smith is known as a legal hitman who has lost several high-profile cases at the Supreme Court. He managed to get the President of Kosovo imprisoned with no case, and he remains in prison now after three years.
His wife Katy Chevigny is the filmmaker for Becoming, the Michelle Obama flick. Of all the people Attorney General Merrick Garland could choose from, he chose this man. Now we find out the judge who will oversee his case in Democrat D.C. was appointed by Barack Obama and has a bad history with J6.
THE JUDGE
According to the court docket, U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan will oversee the four-count federal case against former President Donald Trump.
She has been handing out stiff sentences for non-violent January 6 defendants and has previously ruled against Trump’s lawyers. She denied his request to assert Executive Privilege.
A four-count indictment of Donald Trump was announced this afternoon. The charges are Obstruction of an Official Proceeding, Conspiracy to Defraud the United States, Conspiracy to Obstruct an Official Proceeding, and Conspiracy Against Rights. There are six co-conspirators.
JUDGE CHUTKAN THINKS J6 WAS AN INSURRECTION
At one hearing, Chutkan called January 6 protesters insurrectionists.
I want to interject here that even Jefferson Davis was not imprisoned for insurrection or anything. He lived to age 81 and died from an illness. This case appears to be set up to win at the expense of past precedent and the right to a jury of his peers, among other problems.
Speaking at a sentencing hearing for a nonviolent rioter who pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of illegally demonstrating in the Capitol, Chutkan said that the rioter “did not go to the United States Capitol out of any love for our country … He went for one man.”
During the same hearing, she described the January 6 episode as “a violent mob seeking to overthrow the lawfully elected government,” adding that the crowd that day posed a “very real danger … to our democracy.”
Chutkan also said that rioters “soiled and defaced the halls of the Capitol and showed their contempt for the rule of law.”
“The country is watching to see what the consequences are for something that has not ever happened in the country before,” she said.
Chutkan sentenced two cousins with extensive criminal records to 45 days in jail for storming the Capitol, a rare and perplexing punishment among convicted January 6 rioters. She blasted the men for their “decision to take that protest and turn it into a violent occupation of the US Capitol … at a time when we were attempting the peaceful transfer of power.”

Trump could poll at 99% and still lose. When he is locked up, killed in prison or “Takes his own life” because he is deranged. the people will do NOTHING. In short order the court will be changed from nine judges to fourteen and an edict that they must look like America. If anyone objects—just brand them racist “Blood Pride” people—Ignorant MAGA Fanatic Trump cultists and toss them in jail. Simple. But, the winds of change are blowing and the forces released are becoming a force that can not be controlled. A disunified USA is a tempting target for our enemies. And, btw…this is the timeline. From the time the Capitol was breached at 2:12 pm until protesters left the Capitol at 4:17….Trump made 3 statements calling on protesters to respect the Capitol Police and Law and order (and finally calling upon them to end the protest). This was after initially telling them to be peaceful during his speech.

2:12 p.m.: The mob breaches the Capitol Building. Vice President Mike Pence is evacuated from the Senate floor. An immediate recess is called.
2:26 p.m.: Trump calls Sen. Mike Lee
2:38 p.m.: “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement,” Trump tweets as people holding flags bearing his name assault cops. “They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!” At almost the same time, members of the paramilitary group the Oath Keepers breach the east side of the Capitol, making note in their private communication of the fact that Trump didn’t say anything about supporting elected officials. Donald Trump Jr. texts Mark Meadows telling him to get his father to condemn the violence. At some point between 2 and 3 p.m., Jared Kushner is about to get into the shower when he receives a call from Kevin McCarthy, who tells Kushner “it was getting really ugly over at the Capitol, and said please, anything you could do to help, I would appreciate it.”
2:44 p.m.: Capitol Police shoot and kill Ashli Babbitt
3:13 p.m.: “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”
Around 3:30 p.m.: House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy gets a call from Trump.
3:49 p.m.: Pelosi and Schumer issue a joint statement asking the president to call off the rioters.
4:17 p.m.: Trump releases a video from the Rose Garden in which he finally urges the rioters to go home.

Agreed. Folks said the same thing in 2015 though when he said he’d win the election and make America great again. Cost us nothing to be positive is the way I figure it.
