For decades, a so-called anti-propaganda law prevented the U.S. government’s mammoth broadcasting arm from delivering programming to American audiences. But on July 2, that came silently to an end with the implementation of a new reform passed in January. The result: an unleashing of thousands of hours per week of government-funded radio and TV programs for domestic U.S. consumption in a reform initially criticized as a green light for U.S. domestic propaganda efforts. So what just happened?

thanks to demon obama and the neoCONs assisting him
This is just an expansion of the tainted education to the citizens we currently are stuck with. So instead of the press or media entertainment programming you with variable interpretations, the government will hire professionals to read the cue cards right and set up a central information point to keep everything they are tossing at us consistent. This way they only have to lie one time and not get caught and have to lie other times to cover the first one.

Nothing has prevented fake news from butt licking the Libtards for at least the last 35 years without impunity
I can remember being in college in the 1980’s and having to turn off Dan Blather else I was going to break the TV
At least the government produced propaganda will be crappy enough to spot easily.

There is no truth in Pravda.
Just what I want. Unknowable government propaganda broadcast in Somali to Somalis living in the US.
“ This partially explains the push to allow BBG broadcasts on local radio stations in the United States. The agency wants to reach diaspora communities, such as St. Paul, Minnesota’s significant Somali expat community. “Those people can get al-Shabab, they can get Russia Today, but they couldn’t get access to their taxpayer-funded news sources like VOA Somalia,” the source said. “It was silly.”
This is ironic.

This is the content contributor: the last mayday. I concede that I failed to look at the ‘contributor’s’ other content and YT history.
Joined May 23, 2023, and the video I posted is one of two on the YT channel.
TWO.
Government-made news, indeed.
What happened?
The United States government went full fascist. Once that happened, everything happening now became inevitable.
Was this not what NPR was all about?
There is no end to the tyranny...
Oh well, only about a thousand years left of enduring it...
What took so long? Most of the “press” has already been doing it for decades.
This happened decades ago!
It’s already been going on for years through the MSM, Social Media, NPR etc.
It’s all propaganda all the time.
Failing to report fact as news should be a crime. Opinions are t news.
New laws to be enforced by new police....maybe. :)
The MSM has been spreading government propaganda ever since Walter Crookedkite started purposely lying back in the 60’s. He got by with it, and it has grown to the point that the purposeful spreading of misinformation is now the norm.
Cronkite was touted as “The most trusted man in America”, and took advantage of that.
All government run “news” organs, foreign or domestic, should be banned from dissemination in the U.S. That would eliminate all CCP controlled “news” as well as “Russia Today” the BBC and others and it would defund U.S. taxpayer money to PBS as well.
