Vice President Kamala Harris slapped down Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ invite to hash out their curriculum spat.
“Extremists attempt to divide our nation with unnecessary debates. But I have news for them: We will not be distracted — and we will not be deterred,” Harris tweeted Tuesday.
“There is no roundtable, no lecture, no invitation we will accept to debate the undeniable fact: There were no redeeming qualities to slavery.”

It’s astounding to me how the elected president and his VP are actively going after states, like they are mortal enemies. We used to be the UNITED STATES of America, now we have wars against states by our very own government. What happened to wanting every single state in the USA to be successful and to govern all with this in mind? Constantly pitting the states against each other is just un-American.

Well, slavery is what has given the Democrat Party its life and continuing success.
Slavery describes the continuing support of minorities toward the Democrats.
The slaves are kept destitute, with meager support to keep them alive (and still voting for that meager support).
