Ukrainian troops admitted that the Russians have put up a tougher fight than expected as they continue pushing into enemy-controlled territory.
Troops at the vanguard of Ukraine’s long-planned counteroffensive in the southeast region of the country said that a fierce battle last week revealed that the Russian troops are better prepared than originally anticipated.
“The Russians were waiting for us,” a 29-year-old soldier using the call-sign Bulat told Reuters in the Southern Donetsk Province.
“They fired anti-tank weapons and grenade launchers at us. My vehicle drove over an anti-tank mine, but everything was ok, the vehicle took the hit, and everyone was alive.”

But the Ukrainians are on the offensive. I thought you told us their army was obliterated.
the Ukraine is feeding the Russian meat 🥩 grinder. If you consider that being on the offensive it’s no wonder you believe in Biden’s War.
They need to use Napalm to clear out the trenches and thermobarics for the bunkers. Russia already has -in addition to white phosphorus. The threshold for these weapons as well as targeting civilians with them has already been crossed.
They have gained a whole 5 mi.² and it only cost them 26000 dead. Three capture the rest of the Ukrainian territorial by the Russians. They need 211 million Ukrainians.
I don’t think a country with 36 million population has that kind of punch.

What Ukraine troops on the front line? And what Russian army are they facing?
We have been told multiple times (too many to count by this time) over the past year and a half that both armies had completely collapsed and the war was all but over with a total Ukraine or Russian victory - and it was just a matter of time for the news of this reality to creep out.

Funny all that math and the Russians are dug in on DEFENSE. How come? This is little Ukraine. And yet they are on offense. Doesn’t seem possible.
