There’s no denying that we’re enduring a heat wave this summer. The eco-alarmists want us to blame our discomfort on one chemical compound that is vital to life on Earth — carbon dioxide.
CO2 is regularly demonized as a “greenhouse gas,” and increasing atmospheric concentrations of it are reputedly taking us down a doomsday path toward oblivion.
Al Gore warned us about this in his 2006 Oscar-winning propaganda piece, “An Inconvenient Truth.” You can hear what he said in the video below, and remember that schoolchildren at the time were forced to endure his scaremongering about supposedly human-caused increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide.
Pointing to a supposed jaw-dropping spike in CO2 on a huge graphic displayed on stage, Gore says: “It’s already right here. Look how far above the natural cycle this is. And we’ve done that. But ladies and gentlemen, in the next 50 years — really in less than 50 years — it’s going to continue to go up. When some of these children who are here are my age, here’s what it’s gonna be in less than 50 years.” (The spike rises precipitously.) “You’ve heard of off the charts. Within less than 50 years it will be here.”
What Gore forgot to mention is that all those thousands of years of geological data indicate that increases in carbon dioxide throughout history follow — rather than lead — increases in temperature. Here is Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore, explaining the scientific findings at a Global Warming Policy Foundation conference (see 19:05 – 20:37 for specific discussion):

Global warming/climate change has absolutely worked. Al Gore and his fellow charlatans are multi-millionaires many times over. So yeah, the climate scam is doing its job. It’s here. It’s working.
No abnormal heat wave where I am. Opposite in fact.
And what is NASA’s new culprit?
I’ll deny that “we are enduring a heat wave” nonsense. I look at the weather in detail daily. I have my own weather station. Overall, this has been a very normal, average summer. Some places have had a mostly cool summer, some a bit above average. But looking at the world, and the totality of the last 60-90 days, nothing terribly out of the ordinary.
atmospheric carbon dioxide is 0.04% ,D’oh how do the plants survive
Exactly, it’s called weather and it changes all the time.
“No abnormal heat wave where I am. Opposite in fact.”
Ditto here in North Idaho. It has been a gorgeous, balmy summer...highs in 80s, occasionally low 90s, low humidity, no forest fire smoke, balmy breezes, clear blue skies with 20-40 mile visibility. You couldn’t ask for a nicer summer! We keep all of our doors and windows open and don’t turn our air conditioner on until about 3 pm and then only for two or three hours.
Plus, as a special treat, we have a huge number of butterflies and hummingbirds this summer.
No discussion about the greenhouse effect of CO2? Hmmmm! This CO2 hysteria is not coming from scientists. Maybe it’s from university drop-outs in climatology.
All it takes is a bit of a nudge in the data (I’m looking at you, Dr. Mann) to sell your bullshit.
The news said the water was 100 degrees F in Florida. So here I am in Florida. It’s not particularly warm, it’s more like Virginia Beach temperatures.
Excellent post. Thank you.
In the meantime if I may humbly ask for your prayers to help sell a large piece of industrial property I have that would help our County meet its carbon footprint requirements in building a green waste center.
Your prayers would assist the next freepathon.
Tonga Eruption Blasted Unprecedented Amount of Water Into Stratosphere [NASA said a 2022 volcanic eruption could cause earth's surface to warm for the next several years]
The huge amount of water vapor hurled into the atmosphere, as detected by NASA’s Microwave Limb Sounder, could end up temporarily warming Earth’s surface.
When the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai volcano erupted on Jan. 15, it sent a tsunami racing around the world and set off a sonic boom that circled the globe twice. The underwater eruption in the South Pacific Ocean also blasted an enormous plume of water vapor into Earth’s stratosphere – enough to fill more than 58,000 Olympic-size swimming pools. The sheer amount of water vapor could be enough to temporarily affect Earth’s global average temperature.
“As for the greenhouse effect, which is also vital to life on Earth, scientists have known for years that there is a far more powerful and more prevalent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. It’s called “water vapor.””
Yes but water vapor is not a product of generation of electricity or ICE engine use.
So water vapor is ignored and co2 is the evil monster created by the White Man.
.
It hurled a “huge amount of water vapor” into the atmosphere and “could end up temporarily warming Earth’s surface,” NASA cautioned.
Researchers at the time described the amount of water injected into the stratosphere — which hovers between 8 and 33 miles above Earth’s surface — as an unprecedented 10 percent of water already present in that atmospheric layer.
You wrote: “Yes but water vapor is not a product of generation of electricity or ICE engine use.”
Actually it is.
If you burn a mole of CH4 (methane/ aka natural gas) - a hydrocarbon, the combustion by products are one mole of CO2, and 2 moles of H20. Stoichiometry and all that.
The more saturated (ie more hydrogen atoms attached per carbon in the chain or ring (aromatic) molecule, the more water vapor produced. The impact is that coal, diesel and gasoline combustion produce literal TONS of water vapor.
Thus the steam-condensate coming out the top of power plant stacks and your tail pipe on cold mornings.
‘They’ just choose to ignore water vapor overall, and the ignorant public is easily manipulated.
Thanks!
I think they just made that 100° stuff up.
Buoy data here.

Something must be done to destroy the entire agency, immediately danh it.
