Thanks Kathy, we've plunged from the high 90's and 100's to the comfortable 80's, which is because of Al Gore's Global WarmingTM, thanks Al!

Some sort of strong weather system needs to move in to shove that darn “heat dome” off to the Atlantic so the country can cool off a bit. It’s been relentless about hanging around. I called one of my cousins yesterday and it was hotter in MN than it was here.
At least we know there IS an end to it. We just have to get through TO that end.

Glad you got some time out there in the sun. At least you can enjoy it, which a lot of us down here can’t. We do our best to avoid it. LOL

That’s really something when MN is hotter than TN! I wonder if this might be the first year they look forward to snow. LOL!

I haven’t gotten that far, but fall would be nice and may it come early this year!

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

Well, one more day to the IHR tomorrow. We will make the best of it. Gizmo will be having time with his BFF Ringo for the next several days while I'm in recovery.

Yesterday at Wichita Ridge:

How's everyone doing this morning?

It can get pretty toasty up there during summer so it really wasn’t a surprise.
They need some snow this winter because they got little last winter. She said the farmers are begging for rain so it’s still dry up there.

I’m not so much looking forward to Fall. Just some moderation of summer. Fall means winter’s not far off and I don’t like winter at all.

Seems like it’s either dry as a bone and hot as a pistol, or flooding and chilly. Is there no in-between any more? Dang!

She sure does. And she’s MAD!

I’m waiting for her to get over it.

Meanwhile...yep, I need to finish this show and head out. I got no nap this afternoon, and I’m droopin’. See ya Saturday! Have a fun weekend at the museum!

She sure IS mad, and she needs to get over it now!

You stayed up pretty late tonight considering you didn’t get a nap. Sleep well and sleep long.
Catch ya Saturday.
