WASHINGTON — President Biden’s nearly two-year-old German shepherd Commander bit seven people in a four-month period after former first dog Major was ousted from the White House over similar aggressive behavior, according to internal Secret Service communications reviewed by The Post.
The shocking spate of incidents involving Commander — none of them previously known — mirror attacks involving Major, who the White House says was given to family friends after biting many Secret Service members in 2021.
In the most serious documented incident involving Commander, the White House physician’s office on Nov. 3, 2022, referred a bitten Secret Service uniformed officer to a local hospital for treatment after the dog clamped down on their arm and thigh, according to emails released under the Freedom of Information Act to conservative legal group Judicial Watch.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the dog bites — after facing criticism for non-transparency for covering up incidents involving former first dog Major.

Biden, 80, has reportedly expressed doubts about the honesty of a Secret Service member who reported being bitten on the leg by his prior dog Major, also a German shepherd, and the White House has not disclosed any biting incidents involving Commander, who often can be heard barking on the executive mansion’s grounds.
Behind the scenes, agents described alarming series of incidents.
The most serious incident on Nov. 3 began as a Secret Service officer was seated at the bottom of a stairwell at the White House.

The fellow Secret Service member wrote back: “What a joke… if it wasn’t their dog he would already have been put down – freaking clown needs a muzzle.”

Evil Owner = Evil Dog ?
Indeed. A dog’s behavior is a reflection of the owner.
Even the dogs in that family have problems.
But, while I wouldn’t condone putting the dog to sleep, well - for the slime humans in that house...it would be a commendable option.
Yep.
It is reprehensible that this dog has been biting people since last fall, and the story is only now coming to light.
my experience with German Shepards has me thinking that major and commander were sensing that something is off with President Biden. I think that they sense the dementia and are protective. The dogs react to a perceived threat. I bet every attack of a secret service member was of someone new to the detail.
Biden’s clamped down on America’s arms and legs with his fangs. Like owner, like dog.
Can’t wait to hear how KJP will spin this story during the next WH Press Conference.
As irresponsible pet owners, the Biden’s ought to consider a pit bull (nothing against the breed but so many of them are victims of irresponsible owners)—they’re giving the German Shepard breed a bad rep.
One attack occurred while Jill was walking the dog in the garden.
And remember how they ragged on Trump for not having a dog.
The good news is Mitt Romney knows how to solve this problem.
Third paragraph: “…emails released under the Freedom of Information Act to conservative legal group Judicial Watch.”
They can find what they want to find. They decided to throw this bone to JW while they still keep the important docs revealing treason locked up.
Give Commander a COVID vaccination.
Poor Seamus!
Not po'd enough to refuse to go along with the cocaine coverup tho'.
And of course, Clark Griswold.
Absent an alpha, domestic dogs assume it’s they themselves who must fill this role in the pack. If they’re not quite up to that responsibility, they know it and become very anxious. This leads to all kinds of behavioral problems.
This is so true, MOST GENERALLY a dog will reflect the temperament, the attitude and the composure of it’s owners. The dog needs a new owner who is gentle, sweet and nice.
If I had a dog that bit seven people I’d be in jail.
True, if your dog bit 7 people you would have problems. But remember we’re dealing with the Bidens.. They are above the law. We all know this, no one in legacy news will admit it.
