(NEXSTAR) – Residents of the northeastern U.S. saw firsthand this summer the devastation flooding can cause in a community. Unfortunately, scientists predict flooding will only become more common as the years go on.
A map created by Climate Central, an organization of scientists and journalists focused on studying the impacts of climate change, shows what the future may hold for coastal communities as sea level rises.

Two photos of Liberty Island, today and 100 years ago. The water level is EXACTLY the same.

I thought those areas were to already be underwater by 2000? And then 2010? And then 2020?

Duh....the communities in the NE that were flooded recently were flooded by heavy rains and over flowing rivers, not by rising sea levels. But we can’t expect delusional leftists to understand REAL science, because they are fully indoctrinated by Junk Science.

Tell ya what… let’s wait and see if you’re right. If you are, we can discuss your future prognosis then. If not, we’ll all be happy we didn’t listen to your Chicken Little routine.

Note that a lot of the so-called sea level rise occurs where fill has been used to extend usable land. This crap is completely bogus and leftist know it. Otherwise, they wouldn’t buy ocean front properties.

Some of us will still be alive in 27 years to point out how wrong they are and how stupid they are. But not many of us. And we all get forgetful. This is the calculated rationale for pushing the new deadline out so far. Placing the deadlines ten years out hasn't been working out for them so well.

    Flooding in NY and VT.
Has happened before.
In my Jersey hometown we got hit with 3 “hundred year storms” in the 60s. Massive flooding.
It happens.

A few years ago and pre-historic shark fossil in the Peruvian desert.
Geology tells us there were river beds in the Sahara, the Mediterranean Sea pretty much dried up, we had so much CO2 ferns were as tall as dinosaurs and Eur-Asia was connected to to North America. (i.e. the Native Americans didn’t swim here!)
