Former president Donald Trump accused his successor of dragging the U.S. into a potentially nuclear conflict by even considering allowing Ukraine into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in a video released on Thursday.

“We have a corrupt compromise president, Crooked Joe Biden, who is dragging us into World War III,” asserted Trump before arguing that Biden is doing so “on behalf of a nation [Ukraine] that paid his family millions and millions of dollars in obvious bribes.”

The Deep State wants to drag the entire West deeper into this war.

Only Trump is willing to defy them.

This is the sort of slip-through-the-armor direct hit observation he made in 2015 and 2016 that got him the Presidency.

Well, when the man’s right, he’s right.

Which is why the establishment has to destroy him.

No, Trump is not wrong. Its not the time to be discussing NATO membership, and nobody is seriously considering it. Waving that carrot around is probably something that some may think could be leverage to get Putin to back off (I dont believe its a credible carrot). Note that Trump keeps anything else about Ukraine support close to his chest.

I can’t go along with this. Letting the Russians win tells everyone that aggression pays off. The World can’t risk the consequences of these aggressive wars anymore.

Putin, the bomber of civilians, the destroyer of grain, the man who wanted to take over another sovereign country, shouldn’t get a pass. It doesn’t matter if Trump advocates it, it’s still wrong.

Yes. And it’s primarily up to Russia’s neighbors to deal with it. Not us.

Escalating a regional war into WW3, is following the pattern of WW1.

NeoCons are fixated on the “lessons” of WW2, so they get us into WW1 instead...

No, just stay out of it.

Pull the plug on NATO. The USA is underwriting unlimited liability for 32 countries, of which approx 3 have functional militaries of significant size.

And we have seen the the USA is now extremely compromised for any lengthy peer war - can’t even increase artillery ammunition before 2 years from now.

America’s mouth is printing cheques, that America’s Ass can’t afford to have cashed, and won’t be ready for many years, if ever.

Trying to bluff Russia when they have shown a willingness to use massive military force is a bad bet.

We don't need to use ammunition in an artillery exchange. We can bomb anyone we want because we own the air.

We didn't expect Ukraine to fight a WWI style warfare where they are stuck in a static front exchanging artillery fire.
