Joe Biden said that he expects Ukraine’s counter-offensive will eventually lead to negotiations to end the war with Russia.
The US president said he did not believe that Moscow could sustain the war for years, and Vladimir Putin had “already lost”.
He also warned that Yevgeny Prigozhin, the Wagner Group mercenary chief who led a failed mutiny against Putin last month, should be careful about being poisoned.
Mr Biden speaking in Helsinki, Finland, said: “Putin’s already lost the war. Putin has a real problem – how does he move from here, what does he do? There is no possibility of him winning the war in Ukraine. He’s already lost that war.”
He said he did not think that “Russia could maintain the war forever in terms of their resources or capacity”, adding that “eventually President Putin is going to decide it’s not in the interests of Russia economically, or politically or otherwise” to continue the conflict.
The president added: “My hope is, and my expectation is, you’ll see that Ukraine makes significant progress on their offensive, and that it generates a negotiated settlement somewhere along the line.”

In the part of Texas I came from, walking around crowing about how someone should be murdered was a good way to get your own lamp blowed out. The idiot should watch his words.
If I had to guess I would say that Russia keeps all the land currently occupied and Biden declares it a victory because Putin didn’t take the entire country. Neocons in the mass media will clap like seals and say what a great leader Biden is.
It has nothing to do with the size of the economy, though Russia has a substantial war material base.
It’s about political will.
And the west cannot sustain the political will necessary to outlast Russia.

Putin has been trying to get them weaned off imported Western injustrial and consumer electronics as well as close down Globohomo decadence vectors such as OnlyFans, Pornhub etc

And why is the NATO Leadership saying to Ukraine that they’re out of weapons?

We basically shut down production of military hardware when the Cold War ended. Plus, being that we had reached “The End of History”, we also shutdown the capability to produce weapons in anything beyond a trickle.
So when Raytheon needed to find people to build more Stinger Missiles, they had to raid the nursing homes in the Boston area - to hire-back the people who built the stingers.
