An attorney for Ray Epps, a man seen on video wearing a Trump hat during the January 6 riot, says that his client has been informed by federal law enforcement officials that they intend to charge him in connection with the events of that day.
The revelation was made in a lawsuit that Epps filed against Fox News on Wednesday that accused the network and former host Tucker Carlson of defaming him.
Epps has long been accused by many of being an undercover federal agent who instigated some of the events of that day. He has strongly denied being a federal agent.

It’s a classic, and pretty transparent, cover-up. They’ll charge him with inciting, maybe. He’ll plead guilty, be sentenced to a couple of months in a low-security facility with a monetary penalty which the government will pay and, voila! The Deep State will say their operative “Served His Time.”
I believe it is a ruse to hide the fact he was an informant and or an instigator
of J6. If he gets 6-10 years, I will change my mind.

I am suspicious. If he has been working with the FBI, this could be a collusive lawsuit which they will drag out resolving, and which will end (after the Fox lawsuit) with a dismissal or a slap on the wrist. Serves his interest, serves the FBI’s interest.
If took FBI director Chris Wrey to be questioned about this and now all of a sudden he’s going to be charged? Trying to save face FIB??? Too late.
If he is criminally charged, it will be a charade to take the heat off him. He is a rat and everyone should keep their distance. Those who draw near him will live to regret it.
He only walks if the FBI plays ball and supports him. Lots of problems are solved for them if they let him twist in the wind, though. Nervous, Ray?

I thought that Damages were the largest part of Civil suits. Does he know he’s getting probation?
He’ll probably be shot resisting arrest.
Not gonna happen.
In worst-case for Epps, they’ll be a long, drawn-out investigation period, charges, if made, will be for trial long into the future. We’ll pass an election cycle or two, and then it will quietly be dropped.
For reference of how this game is played, look at Mueller charges against the supposed Russian entities involved in “election interference.”
Translation: “The softball interviews aren’t working! Time to go to Plan B — the fake trial.”
Cover-up. Will he serve time? Is someone paying him to be the fall guy?
