As questions continue to swirl about President Biden's cognitive abilities and competency for the job of leader of the free world, Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., proffered that the criticisms may be the product of the president's comparatively scant public appearances and press conferences.

"It's not how old you are. It's what kind of shape your in mentally and physically are. I think a majority of Americans believe that President Biden has changed a lot in the last two years," he said.
"Many Americans believe that he can't finish a sentence without taking a nap. I'm not saying that's fair, but that's what they believe."
Kennedy said the president's aides have exacerbated such criticism by not "let[ting] President Biden be the president."
"They won't let him talk to the American people. I'm asked all the time who's who's the real president? And I answer, whoever the hell has control of that teleprompter."

"Show them that you're capable of doing the job. They're doing the exact opposite," he said.

Kennedy said the vice president is struggling in her prominent role.
"You don't have to be a senior at CalTech to know that. Just look at the poll numbers," he said, ascribing her popularity issues to lack of preparedness and inability to speak articulately.
"A cynic might say that that based on her performances, that English is not her first, second, third or even fourth language… I just don't get the impression that the vice president is … being herself. She's trying to sound smart instead of just saying what she believes and saying it in a clear, articulate manner that the average American who's busy can understand," he said.

Very insightful statement by Mr. Kennedy, except attributing it to a “cynic.” Every sentient American should realize by now Harris is a nincompoop.

Democrats have a problem for 2024. Biden’s charade presidency is falling apart both from his policies and because his dementia has gotten to the point where even the main stream media have begun to question his mental competency. Kamala, who would be POTUS and apparent front runner if Joe steps down, is a disaster. She could not run a successful presidential campaign as evidenced by ill fated run for the presidency in 2016 where she failed to even win any delegates in her home state. Somehow replacing Kamala would also raise the ire of the woke mobs as she is a woman of color. It will be interesting.
English is not her first, second, third or even fourth language.
Got that right she is one deranged person her laughs are stemmed from a serous problem with reality.

In true leftist fashion, the newly elevated President will blame any troubles on those two along with the Republican opposition, of course, but will then, according to plan, build on the damage listed above. The advantage of having unpopular and unprincipled people do the dirty work is that they don't care while they're doing it and they get the blame afterwards.

It’s an off-the-cuff diagnosis, but I’ve watched Kamela’s speechifying for years now and every time the “word salad” erupts, I’m reminded of one of my medical school preceptors telling me this is pathognomonic for schizoaffective disorders.
I believe Kamela has a touch of what used to be called “hebephrenic schizophrenia,” or “disorganized schizophrenia” today and decompensates frequently; moreso as she’s gotten older and the pressures have increased.
I’ve known schizophrenics who were physicists, physicians, mathematicians, intel analysts, lawyers and politicians; their apparent brilliance often blurs and masks some of the underlying issues like personal hygiene, social awkwardness, pseudophilosophical musings and they can be misdiagnosed or considered “Asperger’s Syndrome” or Autistic Spectrum Disorder “sufferers.”
Often the only one “suffering” is the one listening to or living or working with them as they can be insufferable, always right, snide, snarky, oblivious, downright EVIL in their interactions with normal people.
Given the right medication(s) they can be fully functioning members of society rather than babbling psychos in a local park.
The enablers pretending not to be the ones that gave us the Biden Presidency.

Bernie Sanders older than Joe is 100% mentally fit. Joe Biden is marginal at best. My question is who is really making the decisions for the president. It is not Joe!

What did it for me was “salute the Marines” ... caught on camera as he entered a building. I see it as a “tell”. He was being cued in his earpiece, but naively ( we may say ) repeated the instruction instead of obeying it.
Very understandable! ... if we understand the depth of his debilitation ... and that was some time ago.

They were all patched up as near vegetables and falsely presented as if functional candidates in the last election. With at least 2 of the 3 boosted into office via voting fraud.
Yes, handlers covered for Biden in 2020, and yes he had problems then. But watch video clips of Biden in the 2020 Presidential Debates versus Biden now and you will see significant cognitive decline. Biden is no longer “getting there” dementia-wise, he has arrived.
The notion that Biden is maintaining a steady state makes Dems feel safe in voting for him again. But Biden will decline at an increasing pace every day that passes. World leaders must wonder if they can afford to ALLOW the US to have such dangerous leadership.
While it's annoying, I have learned to mostly let it go and keep moving. Life's too short to get too worked up about someone else's poor grammar. (and besides, I no eye due it myself, to, from thyme too thyme.)
