A dangerous and highly contagious disease with no vaccine is spreading across Australia in record numbers this winter.
Experts have warned cases of RSV...recorded at 10 times the number than the same time last year.
.....
It is a similar story for other states and territories, with the exception of Queensland, which reported 16,332 confirmed cases of RSV from the start of the year to June 26.
Here, Daily Mail Australia reveals everything you need to know about RSV.
RSV stands for respiratory syncytial virus that targets the lungs and respiratory tract.
It is one of the major causes of lung infection in adults and children and can lead to more serious illnesses like pneumonia or bronchiolitis.
RSV is one of the most common causes of the common cold with runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever and headache.
Most people recover in one to two weeks, however others can be hospitalised.
What are the symptoms of RSV in adults?
The respiratory virus causes cold-like symptoms like runny nose, cough, sneezing, fever, wheezing, decreased appetite and fatigue.
Symptoms usually appear about five days after exposure and can get worse during the first three to four days with the illness.
What are the RSV symptoms for babies?
Babies under the age of one are more likely to develop breathing problems like pneumonia or bronchiolitis with RSV.
Infants can appear unsettled and have difficulty feeding.
Parents are encouraged to take their child to their GP if their cough worsens, they have less than half of their normal feeds, are refusing food and drink or if they seem very tired and are more sleepy than usual.
Parents should take their child to their closest emergency department if their baby is having difficulty breathing or are drawing in their chest with each breath.

“Multiple puncture marks in the arm from clot shots?”
RSV was identified first in 1956 in a group of chimpanzees and accordingly called chimpanzee coryza agent, but was later documented to be mainly a human pathogen. Because no specific treatment is available, prevention through vaccine development is a high priority.
So it isn’t caused by vaccines, but may be treated with vaccines in the future still to be developed. I have no idea how it got to Australia and no one is talking.

The Flu and a Cold are two different things.
It used to be called the common cold. Now it has a special name RSV.
I thought that the common cold was caused by the Rhino virus
And if you give a patient a urine test for it, it’s called an RSVP.
Who'da' thunk it ?
Keep talking...are you saying that Ivermectin works against RSV?
Couldn’t hurt.
Dog bites man story. There are always new variants of colds and flus. Are we gonna devastate society again for this latsest?
Hmmm, is it possible that the jabs made people more suspicitiblr to it? Australia pushed the jab pretty hard, and critics of the jabs have charged that it may exhaust the immune system leaving people generally more susceptible to pathogens. Perhaps they were right and the increase in this kind of cold is a consequence?

Take large doses of D3 and there is no real chance of contracting the virus.
The D3 produces substances that keep the virus from attaching in the lungs

Sounds much like that recent outbreak called “Covid-19”.
Panic time. We need Big Government to get us through this crisis. Just obey. Do not ask questions.
Round two of population control on the way. 🙄
I’m starting notice people getting Covid for the third or fourth time lately.
That’s all I got. Wife got a sore throat and heavy congestion. 3 more folks got all that too. I have 3 guys out right now with it
