Cronos : But Putin then attacked Ukraine and went for decapitation, attacking Kyiv.

Nickfrost1 Yeah but it happened after Ukraine disbanded Friendship Treaty with Russia in 2019. The only one treaty which guarantied Ukrainian birder.

1. Nope - the 1994 Budapest Memorandum signed by Russia had, as its first statement for Russia to Respect the signatory's independence and sovereignty in the existing borders

So Russia broke its promise, again

2. The "Russian-Ukrainians friendship treaty" was signed in 1997 -- Russia broke that first by grabbing parts of Ukraine in 2014

3. And finally - after Russia broke its promises TWICE, you say that's justification for Russia to invade another country again?

=======

Seriously - you Russians need to get rid of Putin to save your country. The problem is, you don't have any real good options after Putin

I’ll have to admit, that’s my instinct also.

Trump wants both sides to sit down and make nice. I see it as a reward
for being evil.

I’ve come to peace with the idea my views may not prevail.

That must be the reason Ukraine put out an order forcing every military aged male into military service. They are doing it to replace all the Ukrainian soldiers who didn't die on the battlefield. Your statement deserves the Biden and media treatment. That's when it's best to believe the opposite of what they say. That means propaganda is all Zelensky has left.

LOL...Is that why Russia had to pull troops from Ukraine to check Wagner guys?

The Russians are stalemated and can’t defeat Ukraine. Of course the Ukrainians have a mandatory conscription for all military aged men, they’ve been invaded.

1. Nope - the 1994 Budapest Memorandum signed by Russia had, as its first statement for Russia to Respect the signatory’s independence and sovereignty in the existing borders==

Nope. When The Friendship Treaty was signed and ratified in 1999 it REPLACED Budapest Memorandum 1994. The treaty was just a realization of promises of Budapest. And Russia followed it until Ukraine decides to disband it.

Russia never accepted Crimea grab by Ukraine in 1954. So was stated in DUMA resolution of 1992 BEFORE Budapest-1994: https://i.imgur.com/bjHdXyN.jpg . It is on Russian and I don’t have English translation. But I’m sure that American foreign affair experts know it.

But Minsk-2 agreement was signed exactly according Friendship Treaty 1999 to keep Novorossiya in Ukraine. And ukies sabotaged this agreement.

SO it was UKRAINE decision to nullify ANY agreements with Russia on mutual border which untied her hands.

SO now Ukraine must give up Novorossiya. But if ukies will not then they may lose other lands which they got from Russia in history. See map: https://i.imgur.com/G95TgRP.png ..

P.S. Sure majority of Russians do NOT want include ukies into Russia. BUT they don’t want them get away with lands which was given to them either.

So if ukies want go to NATO then they must go WITHOUT any Russian gifts of a past meaning out of their limits of 1654(see map). I think it is fair.

This one kinda regular mantra which I read from western correspondents but none can properly elaborate it. So you may try but first watch this clip: https://youtu.be/7bHpaAOpQcg ..

And then prove me “seriously” that you are not funny)))..

What it does not show is how Russia keeps breaking its promises to Ukraine - it is not trustworthy

Nickfrost1 The Friendship Treaty was signed and ratified in 1999 it REPLACED Budapest Memorandum 1994.

No, it did not - that is nowhere stated in the friendship treaty

As to "Russia never accepted Crimea grab by Ukraine in 1954" -- that's a lie

The Russian Soviet Socialist accepted it -- the republic parliaments of both the Russian SFSR and the Ukrainian SSR had given their consent to the transfer of Crimea and so had complied with Article 18 of the Soviet Constitution which stated that "the territory of a Union Republic may not be altered without its consent.", with the proceedings of the USSR Supreme Soviet Presidium meeting indicate that both the Russian SFSR and the Ukrainian SSR had given their consent via their republic parliaments,

In 1954, the parliament of the Russian SFSR made an official petition to the parliament of the Soviet Union to transfer the Crimea Oblast to the Ukrainian SSR. The parliament of the Ukrainian SSR agreed to the transfer. On 26 April 1954, the Supreme Soviet (parliament) of the USSR issued a law on the transfer of the Crimean Region/Oblast from the Russian SFSR to the Ukrainian SSR

Here is the link to the Russian SFSR's official petition

then here is the 1990 agreement between Russia and Ukraine recognizing each other's territory

Furthermore, the very same 1997 "On Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership" Russia confirmed that is "respects the territorial integrity of Ukraine and confirms the inviolability of the borders existing between them" in article 2

So, Russia accepted the transfer and confirmed that acceptance twice after

In 1954, the parliament of the Russian SFSR made an official petition to the parliament of the Soviet Union to transfer the Crimea Oblast to the Ukrainian SSR. ==

It was a COMMIE grab. Soviets gave it to ukies. But Russians never accepted that. So I showed you the parliament of RUSSIA resolution of 1992 on Crimea.

Furthermore, the very same 1997 “On Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership” Russia confirmed that is “respects the territorial integrity of Ukraine and confirms the inviolability of the borders existing between them” in article 2==

Maybe but also it was confirmed the neutral status of Ukraine. But ukies violated this applying to NATO. NATO is a hostile military block to Russia. SO one thing can’t go with out another. If no neutrality then no territorial integrity.

And also ukies disbanded this treaty in first place. So no more border confirmations.

Again Ukraine may go to NATO but in border so 1654. If they wanna go then they must return any Russian territorial gifts.
