Trump’s South Carolina rally attracted crowd in range of 50,000 to 55,000, police chief estimates
PICKENS, S.C. (AP) — Former President Donald Trump marked a return to the large-scale rallies of his previous presidential campaigns, speaking to a massive crowd gathered in the streets of a small South Carolina city on a blazing summer weekend.
“There’s nowhere else I’d rather be to kick off the Fourth of July weekend than right here on Main Street, with thousands of hardworking South Carolina patriots who believe in God, family and country,” Trump said Saturday to a roaring crowd in downtown Pickens as temperatures climbed into the 90s.
Randal J. Beach, the police chief in the conservative Upstate community of about 3,400 residents, told The Associated Press on Sunday that his estimates of the crowd “were somewhere between 50-55,000.”

And I’m still scratching my head trying to figure out how old Joe managed to garner the most votes in American history despite hiding in his basement most of the time and NOT being able to draw even a few hundred people in his rally with Bon Jovi by his side ….

There is no real need for this. The nomination is certain, excepting a DoJ assasination arrangement.
Given that the nomination is his, I think he would be better served in strongly independent areas making clear his goal is to destroy the establishment. This is what independents wanted in 2016 and still do.
And it is independents who can win the election, because their areas will not be target for countering by VBM and harvesting.

Sounds good but rallies are meaningless without a good system of vote collecting.
Of Trump’s 80 million supporters, likely there are a few that will make sure that’s an unattainable arrangement.
Trump says it was 75,000 LOL.
This is the exact kind of thing that costs Trump credibility.
It was a nice crowd, and Trump did well in the heat considering he’s getting close to 80.
But that crowd was actually closer to 20,000 than 50,000. Some estimates say even 5,000. A town of only 3,000 can’t handle parking for much more.
That’s what I was thinking.
