2:22 President Joe Biden slammed the U.S. Supreme Court for its decision striking down racial preferences in college admissions on Thursday, declaring in the White House: “This is not a normal court.”
Biden scheduled a press event to react to the decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. President and Fellows of Harvard College, in which a group representing Asian-American students sued Harvard and the University of North Carolina over their affirmative action programs. The court struck down racial preferences in college admissions that could not meet the “strict scrutiny” standards of the Constitution’s Fourteenth Amendment.

Its interesting to read the comments in the New York Times article about this decision. NYT readers, overwhelmingly liberal, also overwhelmingly support it. Of course, you’d never know it from reading MSM coverage.

My daughter scored 1570/1600 on SATs, 35/36 on ACTs. Valedictorian, near perfect GPA, all IB and AP courses. Tutored calculus. Speaks 2 languages. Played 2 instruments. State champion swimmer. Life guard, taught toddlers to swim. Volunteer and charity work. Rejected by Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Columbia.
No one wanted a white kid from western NY.
They all bragged about how many foreigners they admitted.

Just heard Biden address this ruling, meaning he just read what they wrote for him to say.
He basically told these universities to keep using race even though it’s unconstitutional. He said just disguise it, just accept Black students based on a new standard “what they’ve had to overcome”.
I hope they take his advice and get sued for all of their endowment $$$
I betcha the Biden administration comes up with a way to get around the Supreme Court ruling, I betcha.
Maybe just have the Just-us Dept. tell these schools to simply ignore the court ruling.
