I now hope the woke universities will abide to this Supreme court ruling.

Not going to happen. Even as we speak, they are coming up with ideas to circumvent this SCOTUS decision.

This official racist discrimination program was supposed to be strictly temporary when it was adopted decades ago.

And the income tax was only to pay for one war. And Social Security numbers were never to be used for ID. And the 1964 immigration bill was never going to change the racial make-up of our culture. And if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor...

Yeah it was a "so what, we'll go around it" proclamation. More Rule of Man lawless hubris from the Regime, upping the chaos and balkanization. Have been getting emails from various organizations with the tones of "join the fight...", "help us defend..." and such - used to dismiss those as using hysterics for fundraising or bumping membership numbers for this or that. But now these days, there are tangible battles and struggles, with tangible consequences. Everything is now a fight, even for formerly mundane issues of daily life. Peace is being removed from the land.

Great graphic. Makes the rest of the Republican field of candidates look piddling.

Great Campaign poster which celebrate President Trump’s significant achievement of placing Constitutionalist judges on the SCOTUS bench.

YAY!! At least until I read the details. Hoping there’s no “devil” in there.

Unfortunately there is.. In effect they didn't change a thing because they left a loophole. The schools can still consider the students’ essays on race as a factor ( the same way Obama was selected head of Harvard Law Review. Up until then it was based on merit. In Obama's year they considered essays- of which Obama's has never been released ) , so nothing will change and they’ll still favor black applicants with lower scores if they have AI write an essay about how hard it is being black in America.

This decision and the Roe vs Wade one are shining examples of why Trump was worth it, pure and simple. I couldn’t agree more on these two

Now,… as happy as I am, there are those who aren’t. They are furious.

So I reluctantly acknowledge that these two rulings alone, will move over half
the nation to back packing the court.

Your daughter made a good choice. If the school she is attending provides her a good education with marketable skills, that is the objective. UCSD was a good fit for me in 1974. I observed many students crash and burn in the cut throat academic environment at UCSD. One was my neighbor. He was always in "gifted" programs when we were in elementary school. I was happy to see him on campus at UCSD and very concerned when he started wasting time in a student lounge. He lasted a single quarter. In the end, he became a school bus driver. His wife is a teacher. In contrast, I finished at age 19 with a BA in Molecular Biology from Revelle College, UCSD. The skills acquired have kept me productively employed since 1976.

I wish they had added compensation to Allan Bakke, a casualty of med school affirmative action v 1.0.

What happened to Bakke was the genesis for my redirection from med school to grad school at SDSU in the Microbiology department. My interests changed again and I focused on my primary interests in EE/CS. That has been a great career. Approaching 32 years with my current employer. No student debt. Fully debt free at age 66. Weighing retirement. I still enjoy topics in medicine and biology, but EE/CS paid the bills.

the same way Obama was selected head of Harvard Law Review

But he wasn't.

The Federal Judge or Wall Street pathways start with being EDITOR of the Law Review. Obama was the PRESIDENT of the Law Review.

The Editor picks the articles, corrects and refines the text, and controls the careers of all the top hotshots.

The President? He grabs the pizza.

That may be true of the editors( editor in chief being the most prestigious position ), there are 20 editors, but the President of the Law
Review is still technically the head. He is in charge of the editors. Up until Obama’s selection, they were still chosen on merit.

Let me clarify something. He wasn’t elected President of Law Review based on his essay. The election was a popular vote from within. He was admitted to law review based on his essay.Ibgrew up in Boston and remember the protests on Harvard campus in the months prior. It was the same old stuff .Nog enough blacks on Law Review so the selection criteria is obviously racist. So that year they started to consider essays as an alternative to merit.
