WASHINGTON — President Biden has been using a CPAP machine to treat sleep apnea, a potentially serious condition in which breathing can stop during sleep, the White House confirmed Wednesday.
Administration officials acknowledged Biden’s condition and use of the device to Bloomberg News after journalists began asking for comment on strap lines visible on the president’s face while he gaggled with reporters on the White House lawn in the morning.
Biden, 80, is the oldest-ever US president and is seeking a second term in next year’s election, despite concerns about his physical and mental fitness for office.

We sure those lines aren’t from a ball gag to keep him from saying something stupid?

I usually have ample supplies but in this case I didn’t have a spare headset. Won’t make that mistake again.

The sleep lab got an honest measurement of my sleep. Another rotten, restless night. The monitor didn't help that one bit. I have a critical customer demo for July 7th and worked until 2:30 AM to hammer out all the issues in the demo software. As of 11:30 AM this morning, it is 100% ready to show the customer. My 2:30 AM bedtime didn't turn into sleep until 5:20 AM. My wife bounced in from work at 7:05 AM, so that was the end of my "sleep" for the morning. She has to be back at work at 5 PM, so I quietly headed to my desk to finish the demo software. I'm way too tired to drive 75 miles to attend the Welsh Festival in Malad now. It has been high on my "want to do" list all year. C'est la vie!
