The Delaware federal judge likely to sign off on Hunter Biden’s guilty plea next month was nominated to the bench by former President Donald Trump — but was backed by the First State’s two Democratic senators and has donated to both parties.
US District Judge Maryellen Noreika was randomly assigned to preside over a hearing on the first son’s plea deal, which is set for July 26 in Wilmington federal court.

Those donations include $5,200 to Sen. Tom Cotton’s (R-Ark.) 2014 Senate campaign, $5,000 to Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, $2,300 to John McCain’s presidential run in 2008, and $1,000 to former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) in 2006. On the Democratic side, Noreika donated $1,000 to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign and $1,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in 2009, according to the FEC.

Trump did ashe promised. He promoted the judges that the republicans sent him. He had to nominate a huge number. And he did. If they are bad judges blame McConnell. He came up with the judges. And Trump did as he promised. Mitch was the vetting committee. Trump was the one who appointed them without asking favors.
So, you are saying when Bush nominated a left leaning judge it was bad, but when Trump did it, the meanies mad him, so it’s excused?
The Trump bubble floated to the left. His advisers were not MAGA.
I often mockingly refer to the Northern District of California [federal level] as The New Supreme Court.

Look at some of the rulings you see under this FR category. Pure hubris.
.
Gee, I wonder how she’ll rule.
I’m amazed by the people that every time think someone is going to do the right thing.
Every Judge can’t wait to rule against Trump, and all the Biden’s have been protected since they were 12.
Delaware has the corrupt system they want and cherish.
I might be saying you don't understand the subject, nick.
It would take a little bit more time to explain than a post on FR with a few dozen words.
Most of the federal judiciary keywords you see on Free Republic are ones that I myself put there over the last 5 or 6 years.
I follow this topic diligently. I'm also the one who digs out the name of the federal judge when the article doesn't include it.
It takes a little doing, some times.
The whole topic of Dubya and his judges is an interesting one, and could be gone over in great detail in a very long article post.
Here is one of the links I use frequently:

It’s the old blue slip process. Home state senators get like I guess a supervote in the confirmation process.
But see, I still have the same question. You have a write up on the Bush judges, but you don’t have a comparison and you hide all the info on the Trump judges.
Unfortunately, I an aware how bad this court is.
I don't understand what you mean by this [I hide all the info on the Trump judges?].
Here are a couple of the tools that I use:

Oh, they think they're very special.
They're very good at nation-wide injunctions.
Many of them are middle-of-the-roaders [not all, mind you], and some have "grown in office", to use The New York Times' Linda "Greenhouse Gas" Greenhouse's famous phrase.
he is my wife’s brother.
Is this the kind of judge you want a Republican president to nominate? Why is this acceptable?
Who said it’s acceptable? But then again, Reagan appointed Sandra Day O’Connor to the Supreme Court, so even the best of them make mistakes.
But maybe DeSantis will be different. Maybe he’ll be the first perfect president who never gets anything wrong.

Absolutely. Purely random. Not a chance that she was hand-picked. Nope. What a shocker. Complete surprise.
I don’t know if it’s a he or she, but the TDS is bordering on insanity with that one.
Another one of those nominees, the names of whom were given to Trump by his “advisors”, assuring him they were good, honest, conservative picks.
Why do you have Conservative Derangement Syndrome?
Whaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh Whaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!
Strong comeback.
