The Wagner Group called off its attempted coup in Russia after Kremlin intelligence services threatened to harm the families of its leaders, UK security sources say.

This story is changing so fast I can’t keep up.
yeah, the first thing that Russian generals and government insiders do after they’ve made a decision is call the NY Post.
That’s not what the article says.
Soviet tactics. Nothing has changed.
Someone got scammed of their money.
This sounds very believable to me. Plus one report says that Prigozhin only had 5000 men with him on the highway, heading up to Moscow. To bum rush the Kremlin and Vlad. Not enough men to pull off anything effective.

You have to be pretty oblivious to believe it has changed.
Meh...
I’d take 5000 good men over 20,000 dunces any day.
This kind of crap will work, until the families are starving and dying. There is a limit.
Sadly if this is from UK intelligence sources and the Telegraph and the subject is Russia, u can sling every word in the bin.
If you strike at the king, you must be sure to kill the king.
That sounds like Putin.
Even if true it’s not like the rebels hadn’t thought of the possibility.
Yeah, right.
