Totally agree. The first few days are pretty important (to say the least) to stay in a well shielded area. Better to stay in for 2 to 4 weeks with adequate shielding to give yourself the best long-term survival rate.
But you are correct from my research. Survival after fallout exposure is a statistical/individual human capacity/dosage thing.

The US has already indicated a willingness to bomb Russia. There are people in our state department that believe we could win a pre-emptive nuclear strike. Putin is calling their bluff.

Right at the time NATO is losing it’s war for regime change in Russia, some analysts are pointing out that the Ukraine will now stage a false flag framing Russia for attacking a nuclear power plant in order to get US and NATO boots on the ground. So now there’s this fanning of fears hitting the airwaves big time. *sigh*
