Today Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu made an announcement that has not yet been carried in Western media but which is of the most grave nature.
According to the latest intelligence reports, Russia believes that the Ukrainian armed forces now intend to cover their failed counter-offensive in the Donbas by using US-supplied Himars multiple launch artillery and UK-supplied Storm Shadow cruise missiles, possibly in the longer range domestic version, to attack the Crimea.
If this happens, says Shoigu, Russia will consider both the United States and Britain to have fully entered the war as co-belligerents. And Russia will immediately respond to any such attack on its territory by destroying “the decision making centers” of the Kiev regime. This is a fairly transparent threat to “neutralize” their government apparatus and personnel, logically including President Zelensky.
The statement by Shoigu leaves little doubt that we are entering the final phase of the Ukraine war as a war limited to the geography of Ukraine, and are possibly heading into a wider war with unforeseeable consequences both for Europeans and (finally) for Americans.
The ball is in the court of Washington and London.

"If" becomes "when". I can't predict the "when"; but I can assert its inevitability. Over the next 25 years it is inevitable that Ukrainians will, at the very least, commit massive sabotage against the Russian homeland and people.
After what has been done to them, their land, their people, the Ukrainian seething will be ongoing for a generation at least.
Yes, it was a stupid move to do that.
But it opened the door for Congress Critters to graft a LOT of money.

Hate is nothing new in man’s history. Your prediction is just a prediction: citizens in Marioupol and Crimea, for example, are satisfied with Russia’s quick rebuilding and resumption of trade, life, etc…When the Ukies were in charge, little was done for the ethnic Russian populations.
You will be correct when applying your forecast to Western Ukraine, which has fewer ethnic Russians. Their hate for Russians are off the scale…which really bodes not well for them.
It appears that it is the Commie/ hippie retread Democrats that are leading us to nuclear war. The end justify the means rhetoric and actions by the lib/commie part are so annoying.

I remember all the history lessons in school. Everything seemed so clean and clear cut. There were no grays, only black and white. But as I read further in my old age, holy smoke, how us school kids were misled. Every war was far messier and full of grayness than I’d ever imagined. I don’t think the education system did it on purpose. I think they didn’t use historians to write the texts. So we got the CliffsNotes version. I think the fighting “after WWI” went on into the twenties and involved all the same countries as the war did. Possibly, the war-is-over narrative was to placate the great unwashed masses. (That’s us.) If I recall, the British lost some warships and had to hush it up.
