Putin apologist and supporters must being going through convolutions at this point. Too bad that Yeltsin isn’t still alive... He was typically drunk all the time, but a relatively good leader for Russia.

Stalin was a monster. But I will give him credit for one thing. He refused to leave Moscow as the German army approached the city. Evidently Putin is no Stalin in this regard.
