Having just gone through this personally for the last couple years... I hope that patience rules the day... Love for our elders should be priority one.

Not many in our culture believe this anymore. It is of the up most importance. But it requires patience and dedication from the next generation.

Love you both, thank you, and please make it clear that what you share between you is of the upmost importance in the family pact. Because this is the beginning of the next step.

Blood and love first. Bullshit later...
