The Army’s top civilian leader pushed back amid Republican criticisms that the military is going too "woke," arguing such critiques are deepening an already troubling recruiting crisis.
"We are a ready Army, not a ‘woke’ Army," Army Secretary Christine Wormuth told reporters last week, according to a report in Task & Purpose. "That’s something, frankly, the chief [Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville] and I said throughout posture season in hearings, in meetings with members of Congress."
Wormuth’s comments come as all branches of the military have come under fire for what some critics see as "woke" policies, arguing the services have been prioritizing classes and training on diversity, equity, and inclusion over readiness to fight the nation’s wars.

People should be anti-woke, for military matters and for government matters and for school matters and for everything.
Woke is not something that should be supported anywhere. The Army is not a place to be worrying about woke policies, and the army official is barking up the wrong tree if he blames the right. Blame democrats and the left in general, for bringing wokeness into military matters.
General, repudiate your woke positions. They do not represent the American people or the will of the people you serve.
Why serve in the military of a nation which does not serve the will of the people.

If police are insulted and made to defend everything in court or face prison themselves, and the military is spat upon by public school teachers and Dem politicians, then people don’t feel proud to join either’s ranks. Tolerating gay abominations is not part of our country’s military heritage and it shouldn’t be. They are free to join drag hours or cross dressing parades but let us have a strong, pro-USA military.

I would never go into the army or suggest anyone else enlist. This is not our army. I am not on their side. Its an army that is in charge here in the us. They have control. But they are not fighting for me or America.
