New York Post has gathered that the self-proclaimed "Latine, bisexual, nonbinary transgender woman" has become estranged from fellow transgender individuals who are leading the charge against her controversial actions.
Montoya shared a video on social media displaying her bare breasts at the White House, resulting in her being banned from the premises.
Although she has since deleted the video and issued an apology, the repercussions of her actions remain.
Many transgender individuals have expressed disappointment and anger towards Montoya, citing the negative impact she has had on their ongoing struggle for acceptance and equality.
Mental-toughness trainer Robin St Louis and others have pointed out that the trans community has dedicated years to portraying transgender individuals positively, only for Montoya to undermine their progress in a single day.
