Wow, some folks are really grasping for inappropriate historical analogies. As others have said, there is no equivalent of the Fugitive Slave Law trying to keep trans people in red states against their will. In fact, I’m willing to bet many red state Freepers would be happy to see the back of them.
Of course, many of us native Californians don’t want them here either. If California turns any bluer, she’ll pass out. Also, we don’t have enough housing for the current population, let alone every trans person with a sob story. If Newscum wants them to come to California so badly he can put them up at the governor’s mansion. Don’t let them take housing away from those of us who have paid into the system for years.
The Austin city council would like to finish destroying the APD. We hear talk about Texas DPS helping if the APD gets overwhelmed, but they have their hands full with the illegal invasion.
