Nonsense. The conflict in the region has gone on for decades. Ukraine used to be part of Russia. Whole that does not mean I think it ought be again it is certainly the point of view of many Rusduans that it ought be...something you omitted from your analogy. Also Zelennsky though he has not been the one to attack a foreign country like the tyrant Putin, is still a tyrant who even cancels opposition political parties.
You seriously have no idea what you're talking about, right?
Russia invaded Ukraine and grabbed Crimea and the Dontesk People's Republic + Luhansk People's republic - in 2014 -- not even a decade ago
What "conflict in the region has gone on for decades" are you talking about? you don't have a clue
You seriously have no idea what you're talking about, right?
349 political parties are registered in the Ukraine - the Ukrainian government banned the 11 which have ties to the Kremlin
Altogether those parties accounted for 49 of the 450 seats in Ukrainian parliament, or approximately 11%.
Furthermore, Zelensky wasn't the one who implemented the ban. It was the Ukrainian parliament. There is a sort of war cabinet in existence and there is broad consensus amongst the political parties of Ukraine to present a united front.
and finally, the 11 Kremlin backed parties weren't "cancelled" - they were suspended from engaging in any political activities while Russia is still at war with Ukraine
