Theodore “Ted" Kaczynski, known as the “Unabomber,” has died in federal prison, a spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons told The Associated Press on Saturday.
Kaczynski was found dead around 8 a.m. at a federal prison in North Carolina. A cause of death was not immediately known.
He had been moved to the federal prison medical facility in North Carolina after spending two decades in a federal Supermax prison in Colorado for a series of bombings that targeted scientists.
Kaczynski was serving life without the possibility of parole following his 1996 arrest at the primitive cabin where he was living in western Montana. He pleaded guilty to setting 16 explosions that killed three people and injured 23 others in various parts of the country between 1978 and 1995.

I put radical environmentalists in the lib camp.
But he worked for “our best allies”. We would never terminate one of their assets....
Many people would be happy to live to age 81.
They get to pick what they talk about, how they spin it, and when they air it.
Since most the media conglomerates are owned by Democrats, and most journalists are liberal, you have a powerful pro-liberal bias.
The professional standards which once demanded a degree of objectivity are gone today. Any topic, it almost doesn’t matter what, the journalist today sees himself as a socially responsible party to, needing to influence people one way or the other: J6 and the elections, Covid, Ukraine, climate change, LGBTQ, the gun debate, etc.
Language often gives us away. A long time ago folks in the news media would refer to themselves as “reporters.” Today they call themselves “journalists.” There is a difference.
I think most "journalism" schools are training activists, these days. They are very frank about it.
“I wouldn’t say that. Didn’t Brown want to deport the Negros”
I think Americans then and now all wanted to - deport them.
Democrats then as now aren’t really Americans. Democrats still like their slaves regardless of race.
They had so many clues...and the brother knew. They should have caught him a lot sooner.
One of the greatest and most awesome powers of the press - report on it or not? If not reported on, did it happen?
I agree and it’s across all education.
Lots of ideology, weak on actual substance which pertains to the degree.
Today you can graduate from an American college with a business degree, but not know the basics of accounting, how to write a simple contract, nor even know much about the most basic labor laws which impact how you do things, example FLSA.
BUT, I bet you almost everyone graduating from an American college knows what every letter in LGBTQIA stands for, they can tell you about white and male privilege, how horrible the patriarchy is, and if you dig deep they tell you that you’re triggering them.
He never ate the bugs.
I forgot the most important concept all kids need to learn about today. If you say something and it frames anyone special in what can be perceived in a derogatory manner, or if you deny someone something and they belong to a special group, then you’re a racist or homophobe.
What a long strange trip his life was!
“the media put his environmental manifesto in front of the public”
They were hoping nobody read it.
These days it reads like prophecy.
What’s the “nabomber”
Unfortunately for Ted he was born before his time. Today he would be released without bail by a Soro’s AG and immediately recruited by Isis as one of their Top Generals. He would be on CNN and MSNBC as a well paid commentator every night.
“Under educated and over socialized”. Ted had some very interesting things to say about society and it’s future...very prescient things.
OK then but you clearly have never read his writings therefore you have no clue what he was thinking and what his thoughts were on “libs.”
I think they wanted everyone to read it because they agreed with so much of it, which is why they promoted it so much.
I wonder if he used a bedsheet to hang himself while lying on the floor.
’ kilroy ‘ was here
That is so true right there.
