He needs 38 states. He’ll get 17, maybe 18.

I think almost half of the states already have these restrictions is place.
As anyone could have predicted, well except a “D”, knew these restrictions would not really stop or reduce anything.
A criminal is going to break laws, that's the meaning of criminal.

I salute him for going about things the right way. If the Gun Grabbers want to curtail or abolish gun rights, they need to persuade a supermajority of their fellow citizens to support it, get a 2/3rds super majority in each house of Congress and then get 3/4s of the states to ratify it. That is the constitutionally correct and proper way to do things.

Now that being said, I will oppose this and any other infringement on our natural right and constitutional right to keep and bear arms with every fiber of my being.

Yup, You beat me to it.
A constitutional amendment is the correct way to do away with the 2nd. Not the myriad of unconstitutional laws the Marxists want to pass and have already passed. The little puke newsome at least has that right.
Good thing the founders did not make it easy to screw with the Bill of Rights.

Newsom proposes constitutional amendment to restrict gun rights.

He needs to look at his crooked DA and court system and the lack of police officers first problem solved.

He’s just another stooge in office.

"Tell Gavin Nobrain we already have a Constitutional Amendment
about gun rights."

There is idle speculation the vast amount of hair gel applied by
newsome has soaked into and saturated his pea brain.

We need a constitutional right to restrict hair gel use for men.

The 2nd Amendment prohibits this.

The right ton keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

His proposal will infringe on a person’s 2nd amendment rights.

“The 2nd Amendment does not ‘...establish(es) a right to bear firearms for personal self-defense’. It recognizes the natural right to self defense.”

This.

When the last vestiges of the original U.S. Constitution are swept away, there will still be the founding concepts of the Declaration of Independence.

And the remedy.

He’s trying to get his camel nose under the tent.

He will be the Democrat choice in 2028, if not 2024.

I hope he is NEVER “elected” POTUS, but fear he will be with the Democrat vote fraud machine firmly in place.

It's Kabuki Theater.
Anytime one of these clowns starts throwing “constitutional amendment” around, it's pure BS.
They think that it makes them look serious but it really is just an attempt to divert the heat that they're feeling from their base.

His announcementr is not meaningless.

He has staked out his ownership of the crazy vote, which is a significant part of the population. By announcing this he becomes the front runner in the contest to push Biden aside.

Other ambitious Dems must now say “me too.”

And with his “common sense plan to ban assault weapons of war so children can't be harmed” he puts political pressure on fence-straddling RINOs. There are a lot of them. A lot.

RINO’s in swing districts will be pressured to either get on board with more draconian anti-second amendment measures or risk being replaced by genuine Democrats.

Three or four more Democrats in Congress right now would be disastrous.

This announcement is not meaningless.
