Chris Licht is out after a year as chief executive at CNN, following a series of missteps and plunging ratings.
David Zaslav, the CEO of CNN parent company Warner Bros. Discovery, announced the leadership change on CNN’s morning editorial call on Wednesday.
Zaslav appointed a four-person leadership team to lead the network in the interim.

Maybe they could do different things at CNN, such as trying to start a streaming service?
Oh, yes, they’ve been there, done that, and crashed and burned.
Maybe there are other things CNN can do, to revamp their network.
I guess they didn’t want him to move the network to the middle and focus on truth over propaganda.
If you want nothing done, form a committee. Three out of the four libs would have to agree to something before the idea moves along. Good luck!

If the product sucks, streaming won't work. Out of many factors, one reason for the decline of newspapers (subscriptions) imho is bad work product.
Licht told Trump to “have a good time” just before the debate. I guess he did.
I thought the new network would have been with Licht for the long haul.
Maybe it’s as another poster here just stated, that big blow out interview with Donald Trump just changed everything, even though their ratings shot through the roof.
Maybe so, and yes he did take some scalps, but trickling them out over a year was a terrible strategy. He needed to have cleaned house at the beginning. His approach was like giving a patient half doses if needed medication, then being surprised when the patient stays sick
And the 4th is a Communist Party member and holds veto power.
I think the ‘product’ is best described as...steaming...
They would get better ratings broadcasting Three Stooges and Marx Brothers films and Old Warner Brothers Cartoons..................

Wow, the only guy that was willing to give conservatives a small insignificant voice at CNN. Too bad it would’ve raised their ratings. Oh, well, who cares they can go straight to hades as much as I care.
