The only reason Trump is perceived as ahead is because he’s been running for months now and has never been challenged to present a program simply because he didn’t have to since nobody else was running or had announced at that point. Now you have everybody from Christie to RFK Jr running and presenting their ideas.

RFK Jr is a libertarian/Dem but will be an attractive candidate to many, especially since Trump seems to be leaning to the liberal side on the “social issues” and thus there’s less difference between him and the Dems on these issues. Most important, RFK Jr is bringing up the unmentionable, which is Trump’s support for and promotion of the vaccines and the shutdown.

Now that more people are officially running, Trump can’t coast along on name recognition, the sympathy he gained from that loony indictment, and his fanatical groupies. Biden apparently also plans to skip debates or even serious interviews.

Both of these old men need to get real. People have a right to know what the candidates think, how they express themselves, and even how they look in a public discussion.

We don’t “owe” our votes to anybody.

I am still waiting for the DeSantis “bounce” that was supposed to happen the moment he officially declared his candidacy. The public sponging, JAG lawyer hit the floor with a wet squishing sound and just stuck there.

The problem for RFK is that this is almost certain to be a losing proposition, politically. Trump knows this. Running on an anti-vaxx message in a country where something like 85% of the adult population has been vaccinated isn’t going to be a successful strategy.

That and the opinion backed money called odds have him at 2/1, DeSantis 4/1-

the rest-(Pence next 35/1) are higher than Trump ever was in 2016.

and also some 20% of the GOP won’t vote for anyone else.

the GOP is MAGA or Democrat.

looking forward to hearing Christie’s ideas-an attorney that specializes in election fraud yet forgot to comment once on the election fraud.

this article is on target. anyone not knowing where Trump stands on the issues is playing stupid.

Let's see how long Trump plays the "Disney Don" persona.
