Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) still has not experienced a significant bump following his presidential announcement, while former President Donald Trump continues to dominate the 2024 Republican primary field, the latest Morning Consult survey found.
The latest weekly survey, released Tuesday, showed Trump continuing to garner 56 percent support in the potential GOP primary field. He continues to remain up by 34 points against his closest challenger, DeSantis, who garnered 22 percent support.

Notably, these figures remain unchanged from the results last week. And while it remains true that Trump’s lead is smaller than the 43-point lead he boasted in mid-May, Morning Consult’s Eli Yokley noted last week that “much of that dip came before DeSantis officially began his bid.” This week, Morning Consult noted that “DeSantis’ support is stagnant after launch.”
Former Vice President Mike Pence, who is expected to enter the race this week, experienced a two-point jump, going from five percent to seven percent over the last week.

Bud Light Beer napkin holder , lol
How do you miss that ?
I would have tossed it on to another table.
So Trump is up in the polls by double digits. What to do?
Continue attacking conservatives like DeSantis and Kayleigh McEnany while praising Andrew Cuomo?
Sure. Why not.
God has a sense of humor. Someone should snag that picture for campaign purposes, maybe the edgier types could photoshop in Dylan Mulvany.
And what did Kayleigh do after working for Trump - go work for Fox and say Trump shouldn’t run, Trump should postpone his announcement, Trump shouldn’t go to Georgia but Ron should and Ron needs to get in NOW, now, now!!! Kayleigh gets what she deserves for her no loyalty and promoting anti-Trump hater Paul Ryan talking points.
You’re making this up. Which is my nice way of saying you’re a liar.
All McEnany did was understate Trump’s poll numbers. And for that - Trump goes all Trumpian on her.
You are the liar. You don’t know what proceeded this.
Also, you want Trump not to attack Ron. To give him a free pass? Why? All he had to do was wait his turn and back Trump. It’s all Ron’s fault for getting into a now win situation.
Today two bad pieces of bad news laws from Florida has hit the residents. First one was another big increase , 40 percent, in property insurance and the second one was a law that RDS signed which allows rental units to get rid of security deposits and impose non refundable junk fees (monthly). They are fees the landlord can impose any amount of fee for most anything the renter does.

No bump for Ron in polls.
Hard to say if that disaster announcement on Twitter hurt.
It sure wasn’t a shining moment for his Campaign.
Polling frantically being done to “test” the affect of a Trump indictment on Trump’s popularity, in order for the corruptocrats to decide whether to indict.
Even bonding out a third of this screw-the-snowbirds calumny would have made him a much sounder 2028 candidate. But nope, Greasy is holding hands with Pence in an Iowa soda shop...
DeSantis is not going to run away.
With Trump coming indictment, DeSantis is trying to cash in with Trump’s supporters on his promise to pardon Trump should he get convicted. Who knows what will happen? But I, for one, will vote for Trump even if he has to wear an ankle monitor to his own inauguration.
