New York City installed a vending machine that dispenses free crack pipes, fentanyl test strips, Narcan (an overdose reversal drug) and condoms.

Public health officials unveiled the machine on Monday in Brooklyn at 1676 Broadway, ABC7 New York reported. Less than 24 hours after its installation the machine was empty, according to the New York Post.

The machine cost the city $11,000 to install, and it also offers residents free COVID-19 testing, feminine sanitation products, hygiene kits, Vitamin C, and first aid kits. Residents must simply enter their zip code to gain access.

Serious Question..

if the state, is providing/ Selling crack pipes..

Then how can a person in that jurisdiction be arrested and charged for posessing a crack pipe as “parafernalia”.

Yes there is. Why put that stuff in a vending machine? Why not just throw it out on the ground like bird seed? It wouldn’t stay on the ground long enough to spoil.

Will they register crack pipes like they register guns?

Since it is free, would it count as theft if we took all of the narcan and destroyed it and let nature run its course?

I know people who work in NY City Dept of Health “threat reduction” efforts like this.

They are deluded neo-marxists, statists and bloated bureaucrats who automatically promote the latest left-wing academic “shiny object” to justify themselves.

Because the entire city government is monopolized by woke Democrats, no one inside government ever pushes back

And because money is ALWAYS available, no one ever will push back

I’m convinced bankruptcy and true collapse is the ONLY thing which will change the situation.

Residents must simply enter their zip code to gain access.

ZIP codes 11201 through 11225 are all in Brooklyn, if anyone is in the area and is interested in some free goods.

It’s just my bad luck to not live in NYC. I miss out on all of the free goodies.

Help them do crack instead of marijuana. If forced to make a choice, I’d rather be breathing a stimulant in the air like cocaine, than a brain mutilating hallucinogen like thc.

Would this vending machine happen to be right next to the Brawndo vending machine?
