DeSantis is down 34 points with men in this survey, but much closer with women. A new survey of the 2024 Florida GOP Presidential Primary reveals a 20-point lead for Donald Trump over Ron DeSantis.
In the Sunshine State Battleground Poll conducted from May 31 to June 2, the former President commands 53% support, with DeSantis at 33%.
No other candidates are remotely competitive: Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott and Vivek Ramaswamy all register 2% support, with others even farther back.
Only 3% are undecided in this survey.

And it will continue!
Ron jumped too soon and too high against President Trump!
MAGA is TRUMP, Not some Wannabe coming in! :)
The great white hope of the never Trumpers continues to fizzle out. If you can’t even win your own home state it’s over.
“MAGA is TRUMP, Not some Wannabe coming in! :)”
DeSantis wad MAGA before Trump.
Neocons like DeSantis are the opposite of MAGA. They are war mongering globalists.
That is very good news, and should be sobering to Trump and his supporters. The more that is discussed about trumps behavior, his poor choices, his porn stars, the less women will support him. Also, the less conservatives, Christian and social conservatives will support him. And his bullying, name-calling, and tantrums will only make it worse.
“Neocons like DeSantis are the opposite of MAGA. They are war mongering globalists.”
DeSantis was MAGA before Trump.
Most important part of the data here. How is Trump going to appeal to female voters in 2024? Are we going to get rid of the 19th amendment?
“DeSantis wad MAGA before Trump.”
Okay in Florida!
LOL! Oh Wow! You are Serious! HA!
Gold Star for the early funnies this eve! ;)
Thanks for the laugh this eve!
HA!
“Okay in Florida!
LOL! Oh Wow! You are Serious! HA!”
In the US congress.
This isn’t news.
Desantis won’t even win Florida and it won’t be close…
I hope the Uniparty/Globalist/NeverTrumpers promised Desantis a big payday, because there is no math that lets him be the nominee and it’s almost certain he’s going to damage his brand long term..
My family and I live in Florida and are active in Florida politics. President Trump’s support among the grassroots here is massive.
Governor Desantis is seen by and large as an ingrate, overly ambitious politician. Florida conservatives generally view Governor Desantis as a man who would not be in his office if it were not for the President’s wholehearted endorsement in his first run for governor and view his challenging the man who is singularly responsible for his governorship as low-class, typical political backstabbing for personal power.
“No other candidates are remotely competitive: Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott and Vivek Ramaswamy all register 2% support.”
Note that they are AFRAID to mention Chris Christie by name. And the reason is that Trump fears him as he can hear his footsteps closing in on him.
Yes, heard all that back in 16, and how did that turn out?
Trump is the nominee with 60% or more of the votes cast, when it’s all said and done.
My boyfriend said he was turned off by Trump’s bullying. I told him we both need to find a new boyfriend.
It's pretty clear THIS was the more accurate poll,
and the few arguing otherwise (the desperate leaders of that 13%) are all
busy pushing silly narratives as usual.
That is impressive, I have to admit.
In that poll it looks like Pence is closing in on DeSantis for second place lol.
You know all that crap you listed isn’t gonna work. It is a RAT laundry list against Trump. Ron and that aggressive Barbie wife of his aren’t going over real big.
He shouldn’t have made his constituents in Florida who voted for him as Governor number two on his priorities. It was deceptive and selfish.
