Democrat district attorneys all over the country downplay criminal behavior because they consider crime the result of a plethora of inequities encountered by law-breakers. They ignore the fact that criminal behavior is a choice made to damage or harm others. Liberals refuse to hold criminals accountable, preferring to prosecute society. They fail the people they represent by releasing criminals back into the communities they harm. Innocent people live in fear. The police are demonized. Justice is a sham.
Liberal state legislatures are decriminalizing shoplifting. Criminals may steal from stores without repercussion so long as the amount stolen doesn't exceed $1,000, or whatever amount the state considers equitable. This causes losses so large that many businesses lock their goods up or close the store altogether.

In 2008, the U.S. economy almost failed because federal mortgage agencies "Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac made home loans accessible to borrowers who had low credit scores and a higher risk of defaulting on loans." Hundreds of billions of dollars were lost. The economy teetered on the brink of collapse. The Biden administration is doubling down on this failed policy.

“Equity” is a tool in their toolbox. They don’t especially care about “equity”. They care about whatever gets them closer to the total transformation of America. Obama explained all this to us in 2008.
Useful idiots believe in equity.
If politicians and federal office holders believe in equity then every American citizen should be able to access the gym in the Capitol, send out mass mailings for free, have a government pension for life, have the same level of health care as Senators or the President, etc..
Equality and Liberty are antonyms.

Equality = equal opportunity.
Equity = equal outcome regardless of opportunity and effort.

Equal opportunity enforced by law means no one has liberty, as understood by the Founders.
ALWAYS replace the key word with the opposite meaning.
In this situation.. inequality and imbalance is the actual goal.
“Equity” means steal from productive whitey and give to lazy blackey.
Equity is the basis of communism. Which explains why BeijingBiden is pushing it.
Socialism is the step toward communism, which cannot be accomplished under equality as someone has to be in charge to handle the changes in society that happen with that change. So the whole group of people has to continue staying in socialism if they start down that path.
But the failure of socialism is that it requires self-actualization which is the psychological process aimed at maximizing the use of a person’s abilities and resources. And equality will never reach that status. And even Maslow knew this from the writings of Kurt Goldstein. Goldstein characterized self-actualization as an individuation, or process of becoming a “self,” that is holistic (i.e., the individual realizes that one’s self and one’s environment are two pieces of a greater whole) and acts as a primary driving force of behavior in humans.
But there comes a time in that driving force that the whole reaches the extent of their capacity and the growth stops at all levels of society. And that’s when society has to change it’s format to survive as existence isn’t quality as there is nothing more to achieve if mediocrity is the end game. Stagnation at best.

Until all who have been forced into equity and those who are already in are all the same, poor, destitute, hungry cold and resorting to crime to make ends meet. Welcome to the rat utopia.
Bolsheviks promised the peasants they could own their own land, of course they never meant to fulfill those promises.
And a lot of these folks who think they’re going to be at the top of the heap after the Revolution are in for a big surprise when they find themselves up against the wall.
